Regional Facilities Manager, South APAC

Make your mark in Corporate Real Estate & Business Services Corporate Real Estate & Business Services is a global team that manages our vast corporate real estate portfolio and all aspects of the real estate portfolio including transactions / leasing, design & construction, moves, adds and changes, planning, and facilities management. The team takes an innovative approach to supporting day-to-day operations and fostering a dynamic workplace, while driving commercial and operational efficiencies. How you will create an impact + As the Facilities Manager for South APAC (8 countries), the role will be the primary representative of Corporate Real Estate in the region supporting head of Corporate Real Estate EMEA/APAC, leading stakeholder engagement with senior local leadership and leading service execution and delivery in multiple countries at an exceptional level. + Understanding and shaping the workplace of the future around evolving business needs and helping set the path of the real estate operations. + Deliver exceptional levels of customer engagement and service delivery through service partners and a vendor network that meets the size and demands of the AIG business. + Ensure compliance with all local laws and regulations including workplace Health and Safety, building standards, and safe systems of work. Will work with other subject matter of experts across EMEA/APAC region. + Deliver energy saving and sustainability initiatives, supporting the AIG drive to net zero globally as regional lead. What you’ll need to succeed + Excellent presentation and negotiation skills with stakeholders at all levels and senior leadership. + Articulate and disciplined, able to provide and to receive constructive and suggestive feedback and recommendations as part of the greater good of CRBS delivery. + A strong multidisciplinary property management background in a high-end corporate environment. + Experience of a diverse and flexible property portfolio. + An international Health and Safety qualification such as NEBOSH or similar is preferred. + Budget and financial analysis and planning skills, responsible for management of purchase orders and spend approval. + Strong multi-cultural team and people leadership skills, getting the best from the team. + Ability to be flexible to and leading changing business demands. + Experience of resilience and incident management including leading local response to emergencies where required, coordinating resources and vendors and local teams to minimize disruption and any outages. + Management and governance of 3rd party support services for facilities management and H&S and engineering such as housekeeping, maintenance, ergonomics, welfare, and support services. + Understanding of small and large capital management projects including refurbishment, office fit-outs, asset replacement and new builds / moves.
