Regional Facilities Manager

About this role:

In this role, you'll support the provision of facilities management across an assigned portfolio, implementing best practices for Commonwealth Clients' owned properties and leased premises.

You'll assist with managing facility services for WoAG properties within JLL's remit while developing strong working relationships with key functional staff, including Portfolio Managers and Client Operations Managers. Building a solid understanding of client site staff will be essential as you help deliver facilities management activities throughout your portfolio. The position requires regular site visits to support asset validation, safety inspections, condition assessments, and building fabric inspections while maintaining client engagement. You'll be responsible for delivering relevant contract initiatives and ensuring consistency across processes, systems, and reporting throughout the portfolio.

Main Duties:

Deliver against agreed operational strategies that align with organizational goals, ensuring consistency and compliance across all client locations.Supervise planned and routine maintenance requirements while maintaining accurate asset registers and implementing continuous quality improvement practices based on industry best practices.Manage and participate in the 24/7 afterhours service provision for clients, ensuring prompt resolution of site difficulties with minimal disruption to business-as-usual activities.Identify and implement process optimization opportunities to streamline operations, eliminate inefficiencies, and improve productivity and quality across the portfolio.Control assigned Travel & Expense budgets, monitor costs, identify savings opportunities, and operate within financial delegations of authority for vendor/supplier spend.Monitor key performance indicators and develop improvement plans aligned with client feedback, annual scorecards and property management objectives while serving as the key point of contact for facilities management.Provide leadership and mentorship to regional/state operational teams, fostering collaboration and supporting recruitment, training, and onboarding activities.Track and ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures while proactively identifying and mitigating operational risks.Maintain workplace health and safety standards, including reporting near misses and incidents according to established protocols while adhering to JLL's business conduct guidelines.Assess operational performance, support report preparation, and provide insights to the National Operations Manager while assisting with client reporting solutions for the Facilities Management Vertical.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in Facility, Property, or related field, preferably with a Government or Corporate Sector client.Strong oral and written communication skills are essential. Ability to develop and lead a team and liaise effectively with all stakeholders to successfully deliver on outcomes.Strong computer skills including Microsoft suite of products essential.Knowledge of HSE & Australian Standards (AS) requirements.Knowledge of vendor management for specialised services.An understanding of basic technical aspects of property, and fixed maintainable assets.Ability to obtain and hold an AGSVA Clearance and or any additional associated Entity clearances.Must be an Australian Citizen.
