Key Responsibilities:

As the Regional Finance Analyst will act as a liaison between Global Finance Solutions and the Regional Offices focusing on addressing the specific needs of the region. The primary responsibility is to provide specialized financial and accounting information and analyses to designated stakeholders. Utilizing a range of reporting and analytical tools, this role will conduct complex financial analyses and assignments, leveraging strong analytical and technical skills to meet stakeholder requirements effectively.

Key Responsibilities;

Provide financial reports and analyses for the Regional and National Offices.

Develop tools and templates for enhanced financial reporting.

Standardize financial measures for regional scorecards and KPIs.

Empower Field Offices staff on financial analysis and Systems.

Offer technical advice on complex financial issues and facilitate stakeholder collaboration.

Provide reports and analyses to support the financial analysis requirements of the Regional Office and respective National Offices.

Develops new and effective tools, template and techniques for NO financial reporting and analyses, thus rendering better services to the clients.

Works on the uniform measures in the National Office financial reporting. Involves on the overall initiatives on various scorecards and KPIs for the region. 

Train key finance staff in the national offices to do financial analysis and to train these staff in using the various OLAP and SunSystems tools/templates to do analysis.

Management and Technical Services:

Provides technical advice and management advisory services pertaining to diverse and complex problems and analyses as requested by the Regional Office.

Conducts meetings to encourage interaction and the exchange of ideas, concerns and proposals from various stakeholders (RO, NO, and other groups/departments within or outside GFSFRSC) to facilitate project delivery and improved services.

Performs and/or supervises examinations of the adequacy and effectiveness of WV National Office financial reporting standards, practices and policies; recommends changes to enhance operating efficiencies in the region.

Represent GFSFRSC on regular regional finance meetings and consultations

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's or University Degree in Accounting

Has an extensive knowledge and experience in all areas of finance and accounting

Excellent multi-tasking and organization aptitudes

Minimum 3-5 years of experience preferably in an international NGO environment or the like

Can thrive in a multi-cultural, geographically dispersed work environment

GOOD-TO-HAVE:

Able to work with several functional managers or stakeholders Certified Public Accountant (preferred but not required)

Strong Financial Reporting and Analysis competency. Preferably someone who has good experience on data analysis.

Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, Acces, Powerpoint and PowerBI; and the ability to quickly learn and use other software packages like OLAP, Monarch data extraction, reporting tools, etc.

Skilled in preparing complex management reports on a timely basis

Good communication and collaboration skills.
