Job Description:
As an SAP ICB Functional Expert specializing in Intercompany processes, you will play a critical role in shaping and supporting intercompany operations across multiple dimensions of General Accounting. This role requires deep expertise in SAP intercompany processes combined with strategic thinking, hands-on experience, and a collaborative approach to digital transformation.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that new processes are fully operationalized and transitioned seamlessly into business-as-usual (BAU) environments.

What will be your key responsibilities?End-to-End Intercompany Solutions Strategy: Lead the identification and strategic development of intercompany solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Define and implement end-to-end processes that align with organizational goals and optimize intercompany workflows.End-to-End Solution Delivery: Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive solutions, conducting requirement gathering, cost assessments, and risk management for complex projects. Ensure alignment with business objectives and effective implementation of discretionary processes.Period-End Closing (PEC) Support: Provide critical support for PEC activities to streamline intercompany operations, addressing and resolving any issues that arise during the close process. Ensure processes are optimized for efficiency and reliability, particularly during period-end closings.Key User and Stakeholder Support: Act as the key support resource for finance shared service center stakeholders and key users, troubleshooting complex techno-functional issues and providing timely, accurate resolution to enhance system utilization and efficiency.Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Drive and implement continuous improvement projects within intercompany processes, especially those that benefit service centers. Apply digital, ERP, and bolt-on solutions to streamline operations, improve user experience, and enhance functional efficiency.Continuous Improvement in ERP Efficiency: Identify opportunities to enhance ERP performance, applying digital and ERP-based solutions that optimize people, process, and technology to deliver efficiency, effectiveness, and improved user experience.Mentorship and Knowledge Management: Provide coaching and support for entry-level and junior Functional Experts, strengthening the Power/Key User community and fostering a collaborative learning environment. Develop knowledge-sharing frameworks to sustain expertise within the team.Continuous Improvement and Deployment: Lead efforts to deploy new functionalities and manage regional rollouts of MGS Finance technical enablers. Coordinate configuration, system testing, and training for new units/entities, and ensure alignment and communication across impacted business segments.ERP Governance and Change Management: Conduct thorough system and process impact assessments for global and regional ERP change requests. Support ERP governance by ensuring timely testing and proactive resolution of system issues, leveraging automation where appropriate.User Support and Issue Escalation: Serve as a second-tier escalation point for end-user support, handling complex queries and issues that key users are unable to resolve. Promote best practices and provide troubleshooting support to enhance system reliability and performance.Stakeholder Engagement and Future-Readiness: Engage with business units (BU) and stakeholders to understand evolving technical requirements. Represent the region in global meetings with other Regional Functional Experts to prioritize new developments that address both current and future needs.System Testing and Automation: Support global and local testing activities to proactively prevent system issues, implementing automation solutions where possible to enhance accuracy and reduce manual effort in testing processes.Digital Transformation Partnership: Collaborate with digital transformation initiatives to design, test, and operationalize new solutions, ensuring that intercompany processes align with broader digital strategies. Support seamless transitions from project implementation to BAU.Process Design to BAU Transition: Ensure that processes developed through digital transformation or other initiatives are effectively transitioned to BAU. Provide robust documentation, training, and monitoring to guarantee process adherence and effective handover to operational teams.
