Joining the Controlling and Banking department for EMEA Region is a great opportunity to learn more about each entity (39+ entities) and adopt an understanding of how they work and what drives their existence.
Support your direct manager and team with tasks and requirements including but not limited to the following:
Reconciling Financial Records: Compare bank statements, internal records, and other financial data to identify and resolve discrepancies. Investigating Discrepancies: Thoroughly investigate the causes of discrepancies and take corrective action. Preparing Reconciliation Reports: Prepare detailed reports documenting reconciliation processes and findings. Maintaining Records: Keep accurate and up-to-date documentation of reconciliation processes and procedures. Supporting Audits: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in reconciliation procedures. Communication: Communicate findings and suggest corrective actions to management and collaborate with other departments. Equity Analysis: Record and analyze the equity status of each entity and support your analysisComplete KYC processes with each bank when required and maintain archivesBe a liaison between banks and internal teamsKeep track and up-to-date bank information from legal teams and banksBecome the point of contact for all stakeholders involved in bankingAssist with opening new bank accounts and closing old onesManage bank accounts and ensure there are no blockages for cashflowManage and assist with tax requirements from HQ office quarterly and annuallyInvolvement in tax projects regionallyEnsure up-to-date tax requirements per entitySkills and Qualifications:
Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to identify and analyze discrepancies and variances. Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to ensure accuracy in financial records. Knowledge of Accounting Principles: Familiarity with general ledger accounts and accounting procedures. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies effectively. Communication Skills: Ability to communicate findings and collaborate with other departments. Software Proficiency: Proficiency in accounting software such as D365 and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Experience: Prior experience in finance or accounting 4+ years, particularly in reconciliation processes and banking within EMEA region will be advantageousEducation: Accounting degree is essential.Self-driven, able to work independently as well as a good team playerAdaptability within new teams and projectsWhen you become a part of Infobip you can expect:
