Regional Financial Manager
**JOB PURPOSE:** The Regional Financial Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the Billing, Accounts Receivable, and Collections functions of all division service lines. The major focus will be managing a team responsible for all daily billing and collection activities as well as auditing methods and procedures to improve efficiency. The Regional Financial Manager will develop and maintain a strong working relationship with the leadership for the regions served by the team. This position reports to the Executive Director of Finance. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:** • Coordinate and direct the day-to-day billing and collection activities of the team. • Monitor accounts receivable activities, ensuring Biller accuracy and performance. • Monitor accounts receivable productivity to align targets and identify areas of opportunity and ongoing staffing needs. • Hire new partners to fill vacancies on the team; follows disciplinary procedures as needed for current partners. • Oversee month-end close processes, including reporting and account balancing. • Work with both financial and operations to assure compliance with company policies and procedures related to financial and business office activities. • Maintain knowledge of industry payor billing and appeal policies. • Communicate and escalate patient processing and payer trends to leadership while working on resolutions. • Assist in preparing and providing new partner training along with ongoing training for current partners. • Build trusting relationships by providing confident leadership and timely communication. • Implement partner relation practices necessary to establish a positive relationship and promote a high level of partner morale. • Follows all company policies and procedures, state and federal laws and regulations, and charged with reporting violations to the appropriate supervisor. **KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:** • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Insurance payors • Strong knowledge of healthcare billing applications including but not limited to Home Care Home Base and MatrixCare. • Able to respond to change productively and handle additional projects as assigned. • Demonstrates clear and effective communication and negotiation skills. • Highly organized with timely follow-up. **MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:** • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field required **MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:** • Minimum 3 – 5 years experience in Revenue Cycle Management, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred. . **Family Makes Us Stronger.** Our family, your family, one family.
