Regional General Manager - West
**Job Description Summary** Reporting to Canadian President, the Regional General Manager – Western Canada will set and execute the business/commercial strategy for the full portfolio of Imaging, LCS, and Ultrasound offerings in the region. Leading an organization of approximately 100 million in sales, the Regional General Manager is accountable for market visibility, market share, revenue, profit and cash performance for the region. They are empowered to make capital/pricing decisions as well as tradeoffs across the region to drive outcomes for customers leading to profitable growth. They will make those trade-offs in collaboration with the Canada Segment Leaders. The Regional General Manager provides leadership to a team of Commercial leaders as well as oversight to Service leaders within the region. Further, they will be responsible for developing strong relationships with leaders at the GE Healthcare executive level, government , institutions and strategic Healthcare accounts (public and private). **Job Description** **Responsibilities** + Sets the overall regional business strategy, agenda, initiatives, and culture to help ensure that financial, employee, and customer goals are met or exceeded in the region + Manages regional sales revenue, margin, cost targets, orders and other financial goals in a manner that achieves business targets. + Establishes and fosters enterprise-wide customer relationships that have significant impact on the organization + Drives business results through strong customer relationships with government, key accounts’ C-suite and department levels, establishing key collaborations and partnerships, delivering excellent service, solutions, and digital outcomes + Strengthens GEHC’s external image + Effectively utilizes key industry information and market knowledge to gain competitive advantage in the market place + Mobilizes and motivates experienced commercial leaders and employees throughout the organization; accountable for positive leadership and culture of the region through ongoing direction, coaching, and career development of leaders + Leads and cultivates a culture of integrity, boundaryless collaboration and servant leadership. + Collaborates with leaders across GE in order to ensure that the best practices for the organization are identified and adopted regionally + Ensure all quality and compliance goals are met and that a culture of compliance is pervasive throughout the organization + Promotes a safe working environment and ensures compliance with applicable EHS policies, Quality Specific Goals and Health Canada **Requirements:** + MBA/BA/BS degree + 10+ years of senior level leadership with experience managing a large P&L + Experience in leading an organization of sales professionals + Ability to develop and execute multiple priorities and approaches to meet objectives + Enterprise solutions mindset and strategic trade off experience + Exceptional interpersonal skills + Demonstrated ability to lead a team that is accountable for financial commitments to a business unit + Exceptional business and financial acumen + Lean practitioner + Excellent communication, influencing, and team-building skills.
