It provides excellent opportunities for further career and personal growth within the organization. As a **Regional** **Head of Immunodeficiencies for Plasma Derived Therapies (PDTs) for Europe, Canada (EUCAN) and Growth and Emerging Markets (GEM)** you will have visibility and access to 3 senior executive leadership teams (Global PDT Leadership Team and both the EUCAN and GEM Executive leadership teams) and you will work in close, cross functional partnership with Global, Regional and in market colleagues across the regions. Through a combination of strategic leadership and executional leadership, you will manage a broad and diverse range of markets providing a Global, Regional and in market perspective of the Takeda business. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** **You will:** + Lead Regional Growth Strategy: Develop and execute a regional-specific growth strategy, in partnership with Global Commercial, to drive business expansion in key therapy areas. + Oversee Cross-Functional Teams: Lead two regional cross-functional taskforces (including LOC leads, Medical, Access, Digital, Finance) to ensure alignment and drive growth in both current and new therapy areas. + Drive Brand Strategy Execution: Lead market teams in building, adapting, and executing brand plans, ensuring strategies are competitive and aligned with regional goals. + Develop Geographic Expansion Strategy: Create and implement strategies to expand the business into new geographies, ensuring alignment with regional objectives and therapy area focus. + Provide Regional Commercial Input: Offer valuable commercial input into global therapy area workstreams to ensure strategies are applicable to the regional market and support local needs. + Collaborate with Global Teams: Represent the region in Global Program Teams and/or commercial sub-teams to ensure regional perspectives are considered in global strategies. + Foster Problem Solving Across Teams: Collaborate with regional and in-market teams to drive solutions that maximize brand performance and meet strategic goals. + Lead Market Partnerships: Organize workshops with Regional Leads, GMs, and Business Unit Heads to help market teams implement region-specific strategies. + Promote Cross-Functional Collaboration: Drive prioritization and foster collaboration across functions through structured business reviews and engagement with external stakeholders. + Engage with Global Stakeholders: Represent the region in international congress execution and key opinion leader engagement alongside global teams. + Share Best Practices: Facilitate the sharing of best practices and insights across regions, leveraging learnings to drive growth and improve launch execution. + Conduct Market and Competitive Analysis: Monitor regional trends, patient journeys, competitor strategies, and market dynamics to stay ahead of shifts and identify new opportunities. + Drive Initiative Co-Creation: Collaborate with stakeholders to create region-specific initiatives and key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with overall business goals. + Support Execution Across Teams: Ensure the successful execution of regional initiatives by engaging senior stakeholders and maintaining alignment across functions. **Required Education, Behavioural Competencies and Skills:** + Extensive experience leading cross-functional teams within a specific market or region, driving business results in a senior leadership role (e.g., Business Unit Head or equivalent). + Demonstrated ability to influence and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and external partners in a highly matrixed environment. + Strong track record of managing P&L, making strategic trade-offs in dynamic and competitive markets, and balancing short-term performance with long-term growth. + Proven ability to execute commercial strategies across various market models (e.g., direct sales, partnerships, distributor networks) while navigating diverse regulatory and operational environments. + Significant experience in launching products and executing asset strategies across multiple regions or markets, with a focus on market penetration, revenue growth, and alignment with corporate objectives. + Demonstrated success in expanding product reach and driving adoption through collaboration with cross-functional teams. Experience entering new therapeutic areas is highly desirable. + In-depth understanding of global healthcare markets, including regulatory, economic, and cultural factors. + Ability to develop and adapt business strategies to diverse market conditions and overcome challenges in highly regulated and evolving environments. + Excellent ability to convey complex ideas and strategies to diverse audiences, ensuring alignment and engagement across organizational levels. **What Takeda can offer you:** No investment we make pays greater dividends thank taking good care of our people.
