Regional Head of Marketing

As the Regional Head of Marketing, you will lead a team of cross-functional marketers, ranging from PR and Integrated Marketing Managers to Partner Marketing, across the designated region. You will directly report to the VP of Marketing and indirectly to the Regional General Manager. This role is integral to our Marketing leadership team and involves working closely with Revenue Sales Directors and other Marketing Leaders to ensure alignment and drive business growth. 

The call is open to marketing professionals across the EMEA region.

Strategic Leadership: Create and drive the regional marketing strategy, ensuring it aligns with both regional business goals and the global marketing strategy. 

Team Coordination: Hire, develop, and lead a diverse team of cross-functional marketers, fostering collaboration and high performance. 

Collaboration: Work hand in glove with Revenue Sales Directors and other Marketing Leaders to ensure cohesive and effective marketing efforts. 

Campaign Management: Develop and implement local marketing initiatives, coordinating with regional and global agencies to ensure consistent communication and execution. 

Budget Management: Oversee the marketing budget for the designated region, ensuring all activities stay within financial parameters and provide maximum return on investment. 

Expertise and Innovation: Serve as a recognized expert in delivering innovative marketing strategies and solutions, applying internal processes efficiently. 

Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain a network of key influencers and stakeholders who can provide valuable insights and contribute to achieving business results. 

Cross-Functional Alignment: Ensure strong coordination between sales and marketing teams, fostering a collaborative environment to drive revenue and growth. 
 

In this role, you will play a key part in shaping and executing the marketing strategy to support our regional business objectives, ensuring all activities are in line with our overall company goals and vision. 

Experience

10-15 years of experience in progressive marketing roles, with at least 5 years in senior leadership or executive positions.

Proven history of leading the entire marketing function at the in a major organization or high-growth company ( the focus of the position is on Europe, MENA and Africa region).

Experience developing and executing marketing strategies that align with corporate goals across multiple regions and markets.

Leadership in managing cross-functional teams across multiple geographies and disciplines, including brand, growth, partner and integrated marketing as well as communications

Demonstrated success in C-level collaboration, contributing to company-wide strategies and sitting on executive leadership teams.

Significant experience managing and optimizing large-scale marketing budgets and driving ROI from marketing initiatives.

Skills and Competencies

Executive leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to drive marketing initiatives that influence the company’s overall business strategy and success.

Strategic business acumen, able to align marketing strategies with broader business objectives, growth targets, and investor relations.

Strong understanding of evolving consumer behaviors, market dynamics, and new technologies affecting marketing practices.

Deep understanding of customer lifecycle management and ability to create marketing programs that optimize customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.
 

Leadership and Management

Exceptional skills in leading large, diverse teams and departments across multiple regions, ensuring cohesion, shared goals, and clear communication.

A visionary leader, capable of inspiring teams and the entire organization with a clear and compelling vision for the company’s brand and market presence.

Proven ability to develop future leaders within the marketing team, establishing a culture of mentorship, growth, and high performance.

High-level stakeholder management, including influencing the board of directors, C- suite executives, and external partners.
 

Industry and Market Expertise

Deep knowledge of the telecommunication, tech or ICT industry

Understanding of global market dynamics and trends, with experience in overseeing international marketing strategies in various cultural contexts.

Experience managing agency relationships, partnerships with vendors, and ensuring alignment of external resources with internal goals.
