Regional Human Resources Director
Location: Asheville, NC, Salisbury, NC, or Memphis, TN (multi-site leadership across U.S.).
We are seeking a strategic, business-savvy Regional HR Director to lead and support HR operations across multiple manufacturing sites in the U.S. This role is responsible for aligning regional HR strategies with corporate objectives, building strong partnerships with operations leaders, and driving execution across talent management, organizational design, labor relations, and compliance.
What can you expect to do?
Strategic HR Leadership
Develop and implement regional HR strategies aligned with corporate goals.Partner closely with site and operations leaders to drive business outcomes through people strategies.Lead HR support for M&A activity, workforce planning, and organizational change initiatives.Team Development & Coaching
Lead, coach, and develop a team of HR professionals across multiple sites.Build HR capability and a strong talent pipeline through mentoring and performance development.Talent & Organizational Development
Oversee execution of talent management, succession planning, and organizational design initiatives.Implement employee development programs that reinforce company culture and support workforce growth.Data-Driven Decision Making
Analyze HR and business data to identify trends, diagnose root causes, and present actionable insights to leadership.Use analytics to inform decisions on retention, engagement, compensation, and workforce planning.Employee & Labor Relations
Ensure compliance with employment laws and labor regulations across all sites.Manage union relationships and collective bargaining agreements where applicable.Lead resolution of complex employee relations issues with transparency and fairness.Operational Excellence
Drive cost containment strategies and benchmark compensation and benefits programs.Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and regulatory standards.What is the experience needed to be successful in this role?
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field required.Experience:
15+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.Deep expertise in employee relations, talent management, organizational design, compensation fundamentals, and employment law compliance.Skills & Attributes:
