Overview The Regional Human Resources Manager serves as the strategic HR leader and key business partner to the Regional Vice President (RVP), guiding all regional HR efforts in alignment with Sprouts’ values and long-term business goals. This role leads a team of HR Business Partners to elevate people strategies across stores, with a strong focus on talent development, succession planning, culture building, and organizational growth. As a region-level influencer, this leader drives people performance, enhances leader capability, champions culture, and ensures team member experience is consistent, meaningful, and aligned with Sprouts' purpose. Roles is based in either Arizona or Colorado. Overview of Responsibilities Essential Job Functions Acts as the HR strategic partner to the RVP, shaping regional people strategies and aligning them with operational priorities and business outcomes. Leads a team of HR Business Partners; coaches and develops them to deliver best-in-class support and partnership to store leaders. Leads and facilitates regional talent planning and succession planning to ensure a strong leadership pipeline and career growth opportunities for team members. Serves as a cultural ambassador, modeling and fostering a values-based leadership approach to create a consistent and engaging team member experience across stores. Partners with the RVP and field leaders to identify opportunities for improving leadership effectiveness, team performance, and engagement. Guides leadership through performance management, talent calibration, and organizational development processes. Collaborates cross-functionally with COEs (Centers of Excellence) and senior HR leadership to implement enterprise-wide HR initiatives and programs. Leads the region’s strategic workforce planning, partnering on labor planning, staffing trends, and future capability needs. Oversees and supports complex employee relations matters with an emphasis on proactive culture and risk mitigation strategies. Uses data and insights (e.g., engagement scores, turnover trends, exit interviews, etc.) to advise on organizational health and drive action plans. Coaches and supports field leaders on change leadership, communication, and team dynamics during periods of transformation. Acts as a steward of compliance, ensuring alignment with state and federal employment regulations. Participates in and leads enterprise HR projects or initiatives as needed. Measures for Success Strong succession bench for key store and field leadership roles Increased engagement and retention across stores Successful implementation and adoption of enterprise HR initiatives Reduced ER case volume through early intervention and leader coaching Positive RVP and field leader feedback on HR partnership and impact HRBP team performance and development Talent pipeline movement and internal promotion rates Qualifications Candidate must live in either Arizona or Colorado Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (equivalent work experience considered) 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 in a multi-unit or regional leadership capacity Proven experience as a trusted business partner to senior operational leaders Demonstrated success in talent development, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness Strong leadership presence and ability to influence at all levels Expertise in employee relations, employment law, and risk management Data fluency with the ability to extract insights and tell a story from metrics Excellent communicator with strong coaching, facilitation, and presentation skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment Travel required to support stores and team as needed Passion for people, growth, and creating a great place to work Benefits In addition to a rewarding career, Sprouts offers a comprehensive program to help support you and your family.
