At Ford Motor Company, we believe freedom of movement drives human progress. We also believe in providing you with the freedom to define and realize your dreams. With our incredible plans for the future of mobility, we have a wide variety of opportunities for you to accelerate your career potential as you help us define tomorrow’s transportation.
In 2024, Ford announced plans to retool the Oakville Assembly Complex (OAC) located in Oakville, Ontario to build F-Series Super Duty trucks to meet customer demands for our best-selling pick-up trucks. Transforming the Oakville site is well underway and will include Integrated Stamping and Vehicle Assembly operations. This is a tremendous opportunity for an accomplished IT leader who can join our team and help create a new state-of-the-art factory with the most advanced manufacturing and IT capabilities launched globally within Ford.
What you'll be able to do
As a Regional IT Manager, you’ll have responsibility for the IT functions at two of Ford’s manufacturing facilities located in Oakville and Buffalo. The role will be based at Oakville, Ontario Canada, and requires regular travel to the United States, primarily to Buffalo with occasional travel to company headquarters and skill team locations in Southeast Michigan.
This is an important leadership role that serves as a member of OAC’s operating committee and leads the IT teams at both Oakville Assembly Complex and Buffalo Stamping Plant (BSP) to install and maintain the manufacturing IT systems required to launch and achieve program deliverables. You’ll work closely with the new model program and vehicle manufacturing engineering teams to implement “factory of tomorrow” IT infrastructure in our operations.
