In 2024, Ford announced plans to retool the Oakville Assembly Complex (OAC) located in Oakville, Ontario to build F-Series Super Duty trucks to meet customer demands for our best-selling pick-up trucks. Transforming the Oakville site is well underway and will include Integrated Stamping and Vehicle Assembly operations. This is a tremendous opportunity for an accomplished IT leader who can join our team and help create a new state-of-the-art factory with the most advanced manufacturing and IT capabilities launched globally within Ford.
What you'll be able to do
As a Regional IT Manager, you’ll have responsibility for the IT functions at two of Ford’s manufacturing facilities located in Oakville and Buffalo. The role will be based at Oakville, Ontario Canada, and requires regular travel to the United States, primarily to Buffalo with occasional travel to company headquarters and skill team locations in Southeast Michigan.
This is an important leadership role that serves as a member of OAC’s operating committee and leads the IT teams at both Oakville Assembly Complex and Buffalo Stamping Plant (BSP) to install and maintain the manufacturing IT systems required to launch and achieve program deliverables. You’ll work closely with the new model program and vehicle manufacturing engineering teams to implement “factory of tomorrow” IT infrastructure in our operations.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or degree equivalentExtensive knowledge of Manufacturing Business Processes (Stamping, Vehicle Operations) Five (5)+ years IT experience, or equivalentProven ability to lead, supervise, and empower team membersSelf-starter with ability to manage through difficult situationsAbility to obtain work authorization to the United StatesPreferred Qualifications

Build and lead Site IT support organizations responsible for ground-level IT support to OAC and BSP operations.Help design and implement new IT infrastructure and plant floor applications.
