As a Regional Key Accounts & Project Support you will sustain and develop relationships and business with strategically large accounts in their assigned area of responsibly. These can be in a geography or vertical market depending on the number of accounts and opportunity. Typically, the role will be responsible for the European Key Accounts in the MEA region and also selected Key accounts in MEA. The RKAM represents the entire range of Hach solutions, while leading the account planning cycle to ensure tight alignment between the local sales teams and overall Hach strategies including execution of Global Account plans.
This position is office-based in Dubai Veralto office
In this role, a typical day will look like:
Create specific strategy in annual account plan to drive deployment of Framework agreements with direct sellers and customer sites to leverage the price, exclusivity, and commercial terms of the agreement to drive growth.
Proficiently negotiate and manage complex sales and purchase agreements.
Develop and sustain key external relationships leveraging CRM tools as well as direct all internal and external relationships based on customer needs and strategic priority.
Work with all levels within Sales team to develop and maintain action plans for sales, service, support, and application development.
Responsible for building annual account plan which includes growth bridge and action plans specific to assigned accounts globally and/or within assigned regions.
Develops productive and professional relationships with senior levels in assigned customer accounts to identify synergies and opportunities to develop long term partnerships.
Collaborate closely with local sales teams to develop new growth opportunities, execute new product commercialization plans and sustain current marketing position.
Participates in Annual Commercial Planning process to ensure commercial growth bridges, account playbooks are integrated as appropriate into regional sales plans and strategies.
Leads complex deal negotiations, active team member opportunity teams and provides leadership in the deployment of global supplier agreements i.e. price, innovation
Cultivates personal relationships in key accounts with both commercial and technical leaders and facilitates the nurturing of these relationships in close partnership with Country Sales Leaders.
Support and establish Regional Accounts registrations with major end users.
Project support for the direct and regional key accounts from bidding to handover stage.
Responsible to work and develop tools, documentation for the AVLs and Project bids.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline preferred.
Minimum 5-10 years of selling experience in a B2B sales environment.
Related experience in core vertical markets, such as food, beverage, chemicals, industry
Prior experience and solid track record in Key Account Management
Experience in leading the development, execution, and measurement of strategic plans.
Experience with project bidding, project documentation and technical discussions with end users
Multicultural experiences and multiple language skills ideal with English and French speaking
Experience selling complex products and solutions is required.
Experience using CRM to forecast, manage funnels, and manage customer activity to yield business success.
Demonstrated success presenting / influencing in an executive environment.
Ability to travel up to 50% within assigned territory.
