The Regional Maintenance Manager is responsible for direct oversight of the maintenance department staff and all outside vendors to maintain safety and regulatory compliance at all agency owned and leased properties. + Provide direct supervision to Maintenance Assistants through training, role-modeling, and feedback on performance and employment issues. + Provide oversight to agency vendors and contractors through continued monitoring of ongoing work and communication on concerns and progress. + Responsible for completing and delegating Work orders, Monthly Safety Reviews, and Quarterly PM Inspections to ensure safety at all facilities + Review all department purchases daily for fuel, supplies, equipment and vendor invoices + Assist in development of annual budget by prioritizing repairs, renovations and capital projects in your assigned facilities + Maintain agency vehicles for safety by ensuring daily and monthly inspections are completed and all issues addressed in timely manor + Provide regular visibility to Maintenance and Program staff by performing regular inspections and work at all facility locations to proactively identify issues and resolutions Requirements + 3 years’ experience in the building and/or construction field + 1 year of supervisory experience preferred + Ability to lift 75 pounds without assistance + Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook + Strong communication skills + Knowledge of NYS Building Code and OPWDD Regulations Benefits We offer great benefits including Paid Training, Health, Dental & Vision Insurance, Health Reimbursement Accounts, Payment in Lieu of Health Insurance, Tuition Assistance, Retirement Programs and we have a Free On-Site Fitness Center in our main office in Albany!
