Summary About the Position: This position is with the 99th Readiness Division (RD), Supply and Maintenance Division, Directorate of Logistics, located at Fort Dix, NJ. Responsibilities Advise on the daily operations of maintenance facilities within the Readiness Division (RD) geographical area. Visit maintenance activities and/or units frequently to ensure compliance with maintenance standards and regulations. Advise personnel on appropriate repair procedures, shop operations, and other maintenance related matters. Develop work plans to be accomplished by subordinate supervisors and leaders along with adjusting short term priorities as necessary. Interpret maintenance regulations to create instructions and guidance. Demonstrate knowledge of Federal personnel policies to include hiring and disciplinary procedures. Review efficiency of facilities, personnel, equipment, or procedures to eliminate bottlenecks. Advise personnel on appropriate repair procedures, shop operations, and other maintenance related matters.
