Regional Maintenance Supervisor (Traveling) - Central IL
Responsibilities Are you an experienced maintenance professional with a passion for excellence and an enthusiasm for travel? As a Regional Service Supervisor, you'll have the opportunity to support a portfolio of residential properties, traveling to various sites to uphold Related’s high standards of quality and care. The Regional Maintenance Supervisor will report directly to the Assistant Director of Facilities and serve as a key leader and ambassador for our company, exemplifying our Core Values while working hands-on to support Maintenance Supervisors and Technicians. Manage and participate in REAC inspection preparation including working with the Regional Facility Manager, site staff, and vendor resources. Guide and support our sites in completing repairs for preparation of HUD REAC inspections in a timely manner to NSPIRE standards. Work side by side with the site staff and other maintenance personnel by completing carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and other small repairs. Support short-staffed sites by completing work orders, annual inspection repairs, and job duties of a Maintenance Supervisor. Complete special projects assigned by Senior Regional Maintenance. Anticipated salary range: $130,000 – $140,000 USD per year This range is provided as a general guideline and reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary depending on a variety of factors, including the candidate’s qualifications, geographical location, and the specific responsibilities of the role. Qualifications 5+ years of general maintenance and 2+ years of direct supervisory experience. Experience in affordable housing and a strong understanding of HUD-REAC inspections are essential requirements for this role. Multisite, multifamily apartment management experience is preferred. Strong skills in HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical/appliance repairs. Strong leadership presence. 100% of the time will be working on properties. Ability and willingness to travel overnight up to 75% based on location of geographically disbursed properties. Ability to travel, stay overnight in hotels, and submit travel expenses for reimbursement. Availability to work outside of standard business hours, as required to meet operational needs and project deadlines. Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. High school diploma or equivalent; certification (i.e. CAMT, OSHA, HVAC, CPO, etc.) in a related trade preferred.
