This is a field position requiring frequent travel throughout the region.  The region includes, but is not limited to the following cities: Burbank, Pasadena, Santa Monica, and Torrance.

 

Starting Salary: $70K - $75K

Responsibilities Supervises the coordination of service delivery for individuals as designated; including but not limited to intake process, assessments, service assignment, and effective service delivery; facilitates or conducts associated meetings. Oversees and coordinates data collection, organization, and storage of documentation related to individuals who use the services; including handling of electronic health records where required. Promotes, models, and ensures adherence with customized employment best practices and service culture. Responsible solely for Customized Employment service line must ensure adherence with research-based practices related to all four components, including Fidelity reviews.Partners with human resources regional directors, talent acquisition, and other applicable areas to assure adequate and timely department staffing. In concert with the Director and with his/her approval, decision making related to personnel actions such as hiring, disciplinary actions, and termination of employment are evaluated and executed. Works with pertinent departments to address billing, human resources, payroll, and other organizational activity and issues as assigned.Responsible for administering employment services level-up, career trajectory, program ensuring staff receive the tools, training, feedback, and support they need to advance in their positions.Models Easterseals philosophies regarding Competitive Integrated Employment and self-sufficiency through hands on provision of services. Ensures compliance of, and exhibits, a thorough understanding and functional knowledge of all quality assurance and safety standards for designated service(s), inclusive of all organizational standards and applicable funding agencies, service design, accreditations and other regulatory requirements. Provides input to the development and improvement of policies and procedures. Evaluates training needs and conducts thorough observations of all associates within the service; based on identified needs, provides feedback in a manner that is effective, constructive, and conducive to the associates growth and success. Ensures the proper completion of all required personnel documentation. Maintains positive working relationships with associates, with individuals who use the services, their support team, referral agencies, community contacts, and others who are important to them and their success. Substitutes for subordinates as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, rehabilitation, development or field preferred.Possess and maintain valid CPR and First Aid Certifications.Require a min 40 hours of training from the Association of Community Rehabilitation Educators (ACRE).Possess and maintain non-violent crisis management/intervention certifications (such as CPI, QBS).5+ years of work experience in related field is preferred.Or the combination of experience, education, and training to perform the job successfully. 3-5 years supervisory experience. Ability to quickly build rapport with people from vast backgrounds and experiences; inherent curiosity is a must.Skilled in observation, negotiation, and advanced planning.Ability to collect, interpret and use information swiftly.Knowledge of, and willingness to research local small businesses to identify needs and opportunities.Demonstrated ability in project management. Well organized, creative, detail oriented, data driven, with strong research and analytical skills. Self-starter and able to work independently. ACRE (Association of Community Rehabilitation Educators) Certification is provided (on the job training).Strong business acumen including scheduling, reading cues, relationship-building, establishing ROI, stewardship, and written and verbal communication.Must be resilient, adaptable, flexible, and able to multi-task, accept and overcome challenges, and work on job seeker's behalf. Ability and confidence to bring substantial value to the organization on an immediate and continued basis. Passionate about creating and sustaining change in our local communities.Thorough knowledge of MS Office Applications (Word, Outlook and Excel).Ability to obtain fingerprint clearance per Easterseals Southern California and/or program requirements.Ability to travel locally with own reliable transportation, maintain driving records in compliance with Transportation Safety Standards, proper auto insurance and vehicle registration.Ability to pass post-offer medical examination and test for tuberculosis.Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, based on deliverables and business owner and job seeker availability.Must pass all drug testing required by ESSC.
