Overview

The Regional Manager, Ground Operations is responsible for all Airport Customer Service related performance and administration activities in locations where Endeavor Ground Operations does not maintain local leadership, serving as a liaison between Endeavor and the 120+ stations served. The position reports to the Sr. Regional Manager, Ground Operations.

Responsibilities Serve as Endeavor’s primary liaison between Delta Airport Customer Service and associated 3rd party vendors on matters of performance, safety, procedure and compliance.Collaborate with Flight Operations and Operations Control Center (OCC) on operational matters.Assist Safety and Security in matters of investigations at the station level.Conduct periodic on-site station audits and visits, focusing on Ground Operations’ policies and procedures.Monitor changes in flight schedules ensuring adequate resources are available.Foster positive relationships with local and regional Delta and vendor leaders responsible for providing oversight in stations.Gather and prepare statistical information relating to Ground Operations.Keep superiors advised of requirements, developments and related matters of significance, and recommend operational adjustments as conditions or circumstances warrant.Demonstrate effective leadership qualities to include willingness to take ownership for issues relating to Ground Operations, initiate steps to continually improve the effectiveness of vendor relations, and exhibit and promote the principles of Endeavor’s Foundations of Flight.Drive Endeavor KPIs and OPR metrics in out-stations.Help in coordinating and supporting special events and (re)start-up of station operations.Computer work, with repetitive motion such as typing, in a typical office environment, sitting for the majority of the day. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or a combination of equivalent work experience in airline operations and education3 years of experience in a customer service based position preferred2 years of Ground Operations experience preferred1 year of leadership and supervisory experience preferredAbility to effectively meet deadlines within given time parameters and prioritize tasks efficientlyAbility to communicate with all levels of an organizationInterpersonal skills with a focus on problem resolution and relationship developmentPC proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) including financial modeling experience Work Environment & Physical Demands Travel up to 50%Ability to work weekends and evenings as neededMinimal physical exertion such as: pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, standing, walking, and light lifting of boxes, bags files, and electronic equipment not in excess of 30 lbs.
