Title: Regional Manager, QA

Location: This position will be supporting the Northeast Region

Job Type: Full-Time / Exempt

About the Role:  The Regional Quality Assurance Manager manages the Regional Quality Management System to ensure product safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. They provide guidance on QA issues, support continuous improvement programs, and ensure regional quality and product safety objectives are met. The role involves leading cross-functional teams to implement new QA programs, coaching QA staff, and maintaining certifications. They also manage regional quality metrics, customer feedback, and conduct root cause analysis investigations. Additionally, they coordinate audits, represent QA on cross-functional teams, and stay updated on industry best practices.

Assists in the development, implementation, management, and tracking of the Quality Management System programs. Ensures applicable certification and regulatory requirements are met. Collaborates cross functionally and globally to create alignment of QA programs across the company Supports, and complies with all quality management systems, continuous improvement programs, product safety plans, employee safety, preventative maintenance programs, and regulations. Leads cross-functional project teams and/or sub-teams that develop and implement new QA programs and procedure improvements Manage the quality function by providing leadership and guidance for site operations and quality control supervisor(s) and various level of inspectors Work with QA/QC to develop and oversee all applicable training programs for the department Track all Department KPIs (focusing on safety, quality, and productivity). Travel requirements up to 50% (regional travel and occasional national travel) Any and all additional tasks and responsibilities as directed by Department Head and/or Leadership.

What You’ll Bring:

7 + years of experience in a quality position within Cannabis, Food, Pharmaceutical or Nutraceutical industry Previous supervision of QC/QA departments Understanding of Food Safety and Quality Management Systems Relevant degree such as Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Science, Education, Chemistry. Experience in regulatory and customer visit and/or audits Ability to pass a comprehensive background check Current Driver’s license require.

 

 

 

New York Hiring Range$94,000—$105,000 USD
