\nJob Duties: \n\n\tProvides strategic technical business assistance, including attraction, retention, expansion job growth and layoff aversion assistance to companies \n\tMarket and promote Los Angeles County in the specific region through outreach to target key industries and businesses through monthly business visits and in -person consultations and presentations \n\tAssess needs of at risk businesses, develop an action plan of resources and enroll business in an appropriate program to help sustain companies and reduce the loss of businesses and jobs in the region \n\tExhibits good listening and comprehensive;Expresses ideas and thoughts in written form. \n\tCompetent in required job skills and knowledge; Displays understanding of how job relates to others; Exhibits ability to learn and apply new skills \n\tDevelops project plans; Coordinates projects; Communicates changes and progress\n\tProfessionism - Approaches others in a tactful manner; Reacts well under pressure; Treats other with respect and consideration\n\nQualifications: \n\n\n\tTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/ or ability required. \n\tMath Ability \n\tComputer Skills; Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software, Internet software and Contact Management Systems \n\nWork Environment: \n\n\n\tThis position will operate in a hybrid schedule. The employee will base work from the DTLA office 40% of the work week and additional time as needed with the option to work remotely on the remaining time.
