Primary Function
The Regional Manager is responsible for managing a team of loan originators.

Sales ManagersPrincipal Duties
Manages loan originator and Sales Manager sales performance, motivation, scheduling, training, and administration of policies/procedures.Continually assess development and training needs and recommend programs to develop and motivate the team. Team huddles, one on one coaching, and collaboration with other channels are all foundational – in addition to any offerings from the corporate Training team.Create a talent pipeline from new team members to top performers, sales leaders, sales in other channels and ultimately succession planning.Interview, hire, counsel and ensure support of management team. Work with recruiting team to continue upgrade and build our team.Maximize the retention opportunity of every Newrez customer in our portfolio.Take appropriate action to improve performance in every aspect of the business – culture, efficiency, customer service, conversion metrics, and profitability. Develop and continually reinforce the partnership with our Operations team to optimize every element of the process and experience. This includes knowledge of our team members, intentional relationship building across teams and daily celebration of what success looks like.Ensures originations team is presenting loans at appropriate rate, amounts, terms that comply with NewRez program guidelines.Reviews sales pipeline on daily/monthly basis to achieve monthly sales goals.Assists in training/development of loan originators to function in all aspects of loan originations and selling techniques in a sales environment with marketing-supported leads management.Works with leadership to achieve team/department goals.Maintains personal and team compliance with NewRez Code of Conduct.Keeps informed of developing trends in the industry.Performs related duties as assignedEducation and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree preferredLeadership experience working with management level employees in multiple markets required.5 plus years in the mortgage industry required, Purchase or Direct to Consumer preferred.5 plus years management experience required.Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements
Knowledge of mortgage industry, regulatory environment, and financial markets.Proven experience in building, leading and guiding a motivated sales team.Strong managerial, organizational, and problem-solving skills with ability to multi-task.Demonstrated leadership, enthusiasm, and ability to recruit and motivate others.Distributed Retail sales experience required.Problem Solver, significant experience developing and implementing solutions.Results Driven, with strong analytical, project management and financial acumen; mid to advanced excel and Microsoft office skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.Outstanding Communicator, with exceptional people skills and ability to work cross functionally at the senior leadership level, persuasive presenter with strong public speaking skills.While this description is intended to be an accurate reflection of the position’s requirements, it in no way implies/states that these are the only job responsibilities.
