YOUR MISSION

We are seeking a dynamic leader who embodies a mix of operational excellence, negotiation and collaboration skills, and strategic, innovative thinking. As Regional Manager South/ Canary, you will be instrumental in driving the growth and success of Glovo in the southern regions of Spain. Your role will involve setting the commercial strategy, leading a high-performing team, and building strong partnerships with key stakeholders.

THE JOURNEY

Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the long-term commercial strategy for top partners in the region, ensuring alignment with Glovo’s overarching goals. Own the full P&L responsibility and drive 360º business objectives in the South region. Oversee multiple areas, including sales, partnerships, and advertisement, to drive business growth and enhance our platform’s market presence. Analyze business and financial data to inform key decisions and identify new business opportunities that will contribute to regional success. Team Management: Lead and inspire a team of 10+ talented professionals, driving them towards achieving excellence and exceeding commercial targets. Structure and manage the daily operations of the South Regional team, ensuring smooth information flow and strong collaboration with other regional leaders and central teams. Set clear goals, delegate effectively, and monitor the team’s performance to ensure alignment with strategic objectives. Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, finance) to deliver a best-in-class execution and foster a collaborative work environment. Partnership Development: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including top restaurants, retail chains, and local businesses, ensuring mutual growth and success. Develop and implement innovative strategies to help our partners expand their businesses on the Glovo platform. Drive the expansion of our selection by signing outstanding restaurants and retailers not yet on our platform, strengthening our market offering. Actively contribute to the development of the team, fostering a supportive environment that encourages learning, growth, and collective success.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

Experience & Skills: 7+ years of relevant experience managing high-performing teams of 10+ people in fast-paced environments such as startups, top consulting firms, or top tech companies. Proven experience in negotiating large-scale contracts and building lasting relationships with C-level executives. Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and empathize with clients' and partners' business models, challenges, and objectives. A data-driven mentality, using analytics to make informed decisions and optimize performance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in Spanish and English. Persuasive yet pleasant, with the ability to sell value-added solutions to customers, partners, and the Glovo platform. Strong problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, and commercial mindset. Mindset & Leadership Style: A proactive, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment. Ambitious and forward-thinking, constantly pushing the boundaries of what is possible. Empathetic, inclusive, and curious, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. Respected and fair, with teams speaking highly of you as a manager and leader. Ownership mindset: a natural bias for action, always pushing for things to happen, with a hands-on, deadline-oriented approach.
