Job Description:
The Regional NA DT Data Lead works with NA Business Transformation Office team members, COE teams members, Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects and Application Owners to collect, clarify, and translate Data requirements and data flow design into technical documentation to support integrations and solutions development. The Regional NA DT Data Lead plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of the project by ensuring data quality, accuracy, governance and accessibility. What are we looking for?The role requires strong technical skills, analytical abilities, and excellent communication skills. DT Data Leads must be able to understand complex data problems, develop innovative solutions, and effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences. Usage of a variety of tools and techniques, such as SQL, Python, data visualization tools, and data management software might be required.
Data Assessment and Profiling: Analyzing data sources to understand their structure, quality, and potential issues.
Data Mapping and Integration: Designing and implementing data mapping rules and integration processes to combine data from multiple sources.
Data Cleansing and Transformation: Cleaning and transforming data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with data quality standards.
Data Migration: Planning and executing data migration activities, including data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
Data Quality Management: Implementing data quality checks and monitoring processes to maintain data accuracy and integrity.
Data Governance: Establishing and enforcing data governance policies and standards.
Data Security and Privacy: Ensuring compliance with data security and privacy policies and regulations.
What will be your key responsibilities?Data Analysis and Profiling: Analyze and profile existing data sources to understand data quality, consistency, and completeness.
Data Mapping and Integration: Partner with System Integrators and Mars Technical Teams to Develop data mapping strategies to integrate data from various sources into the target system.
Data Migration: Plan, execute, and monitor data migration activities, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Data Quality Management: Implement data quality checks and validation processes to maintain data accuracy and consistency.
Data Governance: Partner with Central and Regional Data Teams to establish data governance policies and procedures to ensure data security, privacy, and compliance.
Master Data Management: ensuring data accuracy and consistency across systems.
Testing and Quality Assurance: Partner with Functional and Technical teams to collect and implement data requirements to support both System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases. Support Application Teams to develop and execute test cases to ensure system quality, functionality and seamless integration.
Stakeholder Management: Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, such as system design documents, user manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
Collaboration: Collaborate with business analysts, technical analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data quality.
Problem-Solving: Partner with business users and other teams to identify and resolve data-related issues and challenges.
Knowledge Sharing: Document and share best practices learned during the implementation with other regions or departments for future reference.
Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and efficiency, including Development and Deployment methodologies.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, if eligible, including variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Eligibility for these additional elements depend on the position offered and the employee’s work schedule (i.e., part-time schedule, store associate).
