Job Description:

Education:

High School diploma or equivalentBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or relevant field of study preferred

Work Experiences:

3+ years of experience in an analyst or Store Operations roleRetail experience, specifically an understanding of retail operations, store operations, merchandising, and retail systems and technology preferredDemonstrated application of workforce management and expense managementPrevious experience using tools such as Kronos, Microstrategy and SQL preferred

Skills:

Analytical, with strong mathematical skills, problem-solving abilities and creative resolution skillsStrategic thinker who can understand analysis and delivery of analyticsProficient use of Microsoft Office programs, specifically ExcelEngaging and able to deliver results.Builds rapport and maintains harmonious working relationshipsConsistently apply sound judgment and operate professionally, effectively and ethically as an individual contributor of the teamAbility to remain organized, pay attention to detail and meet critical deadlinesExcellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with ability to interact effectively with individuals at various levels, both internal and externalStrong time management skills, ability to support multiple projects and effectively prioritize

Responsibilities:

Provide regional support to field teams regarding all data, analytics, and expense related mattersOperate as a subject matter expert (SME) to store operations and retail store leadership regarding   workforce data and analytics, workforce management systems, labor forecasting, and controllable expense.Develop and automate reports and tools to serve as a catalyst for change by assisting leadership with data driven decisions.Analyze, forecast and plan workload to help determine resource capacity and impacts for respective Region across Academy’s networkIdentity opportunities in scheduling, payroll management, and expense management with field operations.Develop recommendations and solutions that will ultimately impact Academy’s bottom lineDevelop a thorough understanding of Academy’s strategic operating plans and workforce utilization requirementsEmpower field leaders to make to make informed decisions through reporting and analyticsPrepare presentations for senior leadership regarding workforce dynamics and metrics that impact business outcomesImplement management tools to optimize workforce planning and management, including dashboards, key performance indicators (KPIs) and reportingDevelop reports and tools to serve as a catalyst for change by assisting leadership with data-driven decisions regarding the workforceMonitor service levels and forecasted workloads to influence and positively impact performance resultsPartner with store operations leadership and business partners to achieve performance goals and strategic initiativesCollaborate with cross functional business partners on various projects and initiativesResponsibilities may change; team member may be required to perform other duties as assigned
