Regional Operations Director - Northeast Region

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Change Agent and leader in the development of a Culture modeled around Safety, Quality and Environmental ComplianceThrough selection, mentoring, development, aquisition of bench strength, evaluation and where necessary, discipline, develop an effective Operations team for the Region.Facilitate the development of Operations goals and objectives. Monitor progress toward established goals and objectives.Act as the operations principle for the region, providing visible and decisive direction toward the achievement of goals and objectives, operations efficiency, continuous improvement and accountability at the facilities.Actively coordinate with Commercial staff in the support of sales, customer service and business development.Develop and operate within operational budget for the fiscal year. Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and be insurable by the company insurance carrierWill be required to obtain and maintain TWIC credentials to work at various locations within the company. Competencies/ Skills/Abilities:
Must demonstrate an understanding of the budget process and financial metrics.History of demonstrated team leadership capabilityAbililty to clearly and effectively communicate verbally and in writing in English.  Communicate upwardly, laterally and downward within the company organization with customers, regulators, and others as necessary.Ability to take and give direction and work cooperatively with othersProficient in use of Microsoft Office applicationsDiligent and proactive with strong attention to detail and results oriented

 Physical Demands:

Ability to travel frequently and stay away from home during travelsAbility to hear communications from others and give input / directions verballyAbility to observe employees, operations, processes, equipment and facilities and contribute when necessary.Working Conditions:
