Regional Parts Growth Intern
Position Overview Regional Parts Growth Intern – Summer 2025 We’re International. We build International trucks and engines and IC Bus® school and commercial buses, as well as develop Fleetrite aftermarket parts. As a Regional Account Growth Intern, you will play a critical role in supporting our initiative to gain more share of wallet (SOW) business with regional accounts. You will work closely with our Parts, Sales, and Service teams to identify growth opportunities and customize solutions that address customer needs. About the Intern Program 12-week program with start dates on: May 12th or 19th, or June 2nd 40 hours per week Must graduate between December 2025 - May 2027 Responsibilities Research and Development: Conduct market research and analyze Vehicle in Operation (VIO) data to identify potential growth areas for all-makes products. Regional Fleets are defined as a fleet with 3+ locations. A minimum of 50 vehicles in their fleet. Identify our estimated share of Customer’s current business and potential. Targeted Approach: Develop and implement targeted strategies tailored to the unique needs of each regional account. Work with each Regional Fleet to help identify their top movers and price accordingly to help gain new business Help define a working process internally for regional accounts that cross over into our other Regions within International Work with Regional Fleets to complete our Fleet Profile sheet Customer Partnership: Assist in fostering long-term partnerships with customers by providing better pricing based on demand and ensuring customer satisfaction. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Parts, Sales, and Service teams to deliver comprehensive solutions to customers. Ideas on who we can leverage our partnership with Regional Fleets for greater market share – selling them on the whole International package Project Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of project progress, including milestones and key performance indicators (KPIs). Minimum Requirements Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. International Motors does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B or F-1 status) Desired Skills Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. Strong analytical and research skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Detail-oriented and highly organized. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Willing to travel At least Sophomore standing for undergrad at the time of application Able to work at least 12 weeks (starting the end of May or early June through August) Previous applicable internships Self-starter Benefits and Compensation We provide a competitive total rewards package which ensures job satisfaction both on and off the job. The expected compensation hourly pay ranges for hires into our campus intern openings is $24 - $38/hour. The hourly pay rate is based on year in school and is non-negotiable.
