Regional Placement & Policy Servicing Leader

Marsh LAC has an exciting opportunity, for the role Regional Placement & Policy Servicing Leader. This role will be based in Bogotá, Colombia.

What can you expect?

The Regional Placement & Policy Servicing Leader is responsible for developing and implementing operational plans and projects in line with established standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring that data, tools and processes meet business and client needs. An Operations Leader leads and inspires a multi-team department to execute its strategy and achieve its operational goals.

We will rely on you to:

Leverages proven operational design principals to participate in the design of the operations and technology strategy, optimizes location and footprint to support strategic intent and broader business strategy.

Communicates opportunities to increase efficiency and improve quality, quantifies impact, prioritizes initiatives, and develops execution plans.

Proactively monitors and reports on industry or region, competitor, macro-economic, and regulatory trends to ensure operational capabilities optimally position the business to compete and respond to change for designated area of jurisdiction.

Adapts and directs the implementation of capability models to provide optimal operations within core brokerage – distribution, placement, and post-placement – and portfolio businesses as well as related functions.

Monitors operating level expectations for a function or region through established service level agreements (SLA’s) – service, cost, quality and other key performance indicators – and communicates/reports results to key stakeholders.

Monitors discretionary IT spend requests, recommends disposition – approve, reject, defer – and makes the case for funding approval by divisional or global governance and controlls the acquisition, installation, and maintenance of the full information technology application portfolio.

Accountable for a responsive IT control environment and adequate disaster recovery and business continuity plans are translated and understood to ensure the company is compliant with data integrity protocols and prepared for risk.

Maintains optimal organizational structure and recruits, develops, manages, and motivates a high performing team that is results driven, accountable and collaborative and ensures optimal resource allocation and expense management aligned with strategic intent.

What you need to have:

Bachelor's degree required in engineering, economics, business administration, etc.

Minimum 10 years of experience in insurance, process management, placement, operations, etc.

Experience in change management, organizational transformation in companies in the insurance sector

Bilingual (Spanish – English)
