Your Role
Discoveries made in science-based industries are changing our world. The shift in laboratory research from the bench top to the laptop changes the workplace landscape in biotech, pharmaceuticals, and other sectors engaged in science-based R&D. The trend is toward integrating lab and non-lab facilities. This reflects changes in technology and a greater emphasis on collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. We’re helping industry-leading clients find scientific solutions to global problems with workplaces that embrace the future.
We are looking for a talented Sciences Practice Area Leader to help build our expertise in the Northwest region from the San Francisco Bay Area to Cascadia to British Columbia.
Practice Area Leaders are market-facing practitioners who have deep knowledge and experience and are charged to build our book of business through thought leadership and cultivating strategic relationships. We expect these leaders to be adept at business development while also taking on a leadership role on projects. Working collaboratively with others within the offices in the region and Gensler network, Practice Area Leaders shape how we get the work, lead the dialogue on design innovation, and help nurture the next generation of design professionals.
