Regional Practice Area Manager - Operations
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Regional Practice Area Manager within BCG’s Operations Practice Area (PA), you will be a key thought partner, supporting regional leadership in setting the strategic agenda and defining implementation activities for the business. Additionally, you will provide ad hoc support for priority initiatives across the PA. Collaborating closely with PA leadership, you will drive coordination and development of the PA business in Asia Pacific. Your responsibilities will include managing the creation and facilitation of the people plan, and supporting Regional PALs on people, business, events, and communications topics. Furthermore, you will engage in business analysis and planning, reporting, internal communication, and affiliation activities. You will occasionally provide inputs to the Practice's Marketing Senior Director to plan publications, and internal and external events for the PA in the region. Regional Leadership Support:Together with the Regional Leadership team – develop an annual plan, set priorities, and guide implementation/ tracking of progressBusiness Reporting:Own end-to-end ongoing and ad-hoc business reporting needs for the regionEstablish ongoing, early visibility on commercial pipeline using Client viewAffiliation, engagement, communications, and meetings:Lead regional marketing activities including internal communications (e.g., regional newsletter, other regional Practice Area leader communications, etc.)Work with leadership to set agenda for and develop communication for OPS affiliates in the regionDrive planning for AP OPS leadership and regional meetings including OPS sessions at functional conferences in AP and Global OPS MeetingsProject manage affiliation events in the region; Regularly take the pulse on people issuesOther:Work with the OPS Marketing team to define the AP OPS marketing agenda and its activation in the regionLead one global practice area work stream in collaboration with other regional managers such as People processes, Commercialization, or Business InsightsWhen necessary, contribute to OPS practice area projects globally

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
6-8 years of relevant experienceMaster’s degree preferredAbility to manage and drive area of accountabilities, contributing to higher level agenda settingAbility to lead more complex, broader sub-functional teams or projects fully independentlyAbility to resolve complex issues and non-defined problems autonomously, with full business acumenStrong interpersonal skills, credibilityAbility to influence senior members of the PA and beyondAbility to respect sensitive client, BCG, and people-related information as personal and confidentialStrong written and verbal communication skillsAdvanced knowledge in Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
You will work closely with the Global Practice Management Senior Director, the Regional Practice Area Leaders, and their leadership teams when setting the strategic agenda and driving implementation. For additional tasks, you will collaborate with the PA’s global team of Practice Area Coordinators, Regional Managers, Product & Topic Managers. Further interfaces exist with other global, and regional BCG functions and teams as needed

As a member of this team, you will contribute directly to the success of our business through a number of roles, including content development, process management, marketing, meeting and conference management, and internal/external communications.
