Job Description
The Procurement Performance Manager supports the global Procurement Excellence & Performance Team (EPT) by analysing procurement data and development of comprehensive KPIs, reports and dashboards. This role defines and monitor KPIs, understands the data source, has a deep knowledge about implemented software and IT systems and can transfer complex information in simple and comprehensible presentations, reports and dashboards.
In this role the Procurement Performance Manager works closely together with internal stakeholder in different regions and acts as a central person for coordination of all activities which are needed for definition and calculation of procurement KPIs including implementation of IT changes, Business Intelligence systems and dashboards.
This role understands the connections and dependencies between different KPIs, is able to deduce strategic company goals in operative KPIs and supports internal colleagues as well as Management by analysing data and identification of root causes.
Job Duties Identification, selection, definition and calculation of global and regional procurement KPIs. Continuous development and improvement of procurement KPIs, IT systems and reports. Creation of comprehensive dashboards, reports and presentations including detailed knowledge about data source and aggregation. Monitoring of relevant KPIs incl. root cause analyses and initiation of counter measures in close collaboration with Management to achieve company goals. Observation of market trends and indices (e.g., material prices) with a relevance for procurement and deduction of recommendations for Management. Coordination of IT changes and implementation of new software to increase transparency of procurement performance. Lead regular meetings with international and cross-functional stakeholders for monitoring procurement performance. Analysing and maintaining of master data quality. Ad-hoc analysis and creation of reports for various internal stakeholders. Job QualificationsRequired:
Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education and/ or training. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in procurement or Supply Chain Management is required. Experience in performance management is preferred. Apprenticeship with multiyear experience in a similar field is preferred. Experience in cross-functional teamwork and project management. Knowledge about databases in ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle) is preferred. Experience in VBA and SQL programming is preferred. Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%.

Affinity for numbers and strong analytical, numeric and communication skills. Strategic mind-set and hands-on approach. Ability to condense and present complex information to key personnel in meaningful reports and presentations. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate in a multicultural environment with all management levels. Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel and Power Point. The anticipated base pay range for this full-time position working at this location is $103,779.00 - $145,290.00 / year, plus potential for annual bonus (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements). Olympus considers a variety of factors when determining actual compensation for this position including: level of experience, working location, and relevant education and certifications.
