As a Regional Product Development Manager – CES (Customer Equipment Solutions) you will pursue contractors and large industrial sites who own a large inventory of owned equipment and deliver maintenance solutions to help in completion of planned and unplanned repairs in order to maximize equipment safety and operating efficiency. In addition, you will offer support to customers by optimizing their owned fleet scenario, and lowering total cost of equipment operations through advanced fleet management solutions. You will act as a single point of contact for the evolving CES service offering in order to support the sales and management teams who may be responsible for growing CES revenue within their assigned areas, as well as assigned, or targeted accounts.
In this key role, you will drive profitable revenue for the company within all Regions through lead sharing and trade area cooperation. In addition, your strategic vision will guide our growth and drive your career achievement.
What you'll do:
Act as a subject matter expert for CES, providing training and support for internal United Rentals employees, and delivery of solutions to customers who seek efficiency within their owned equipment operations
Drive incremental profitable revenue for the Company within all assigned areas, and target accounts, while driving customer entanglement in order to support, and solidify, customer relationships
Target and focus on the development of the CES product and service offerings within assigned/targeted customers, customer segments, applicable assigned geography, and corresponding Branches, Districts, and Regions
Work closely with District and Branch operations and sales leaders in promoting the full CES service offering
Formulate and present strategic fleet servicing solutions to customers that focus on an ROI for both the customer and UR
Effectively utilize fleet management/equipment operations aptitude, as well as United Rentals Systems and proven processes, to formulate customer solutions which deliver efficiency to the customer equipment scenario

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of experience and education
10+ years’ sales experience, preferably in branch or sales management and with large account experience selling complex solutions
Operations experience, specific to equipment operations
Strong planning, problem-solving and negotiation skills, excellent interpersonal communication skills, and proficient computer skills
Knowledge of construction or related equipment is preferred; however, candidates with comparable industry experience, a strong sales acumen and record of achievement will also be considered
Independent and possess strong research and organizational skills
Travel 25% and reside within close proximity to an airport for frequent travel
