The RPM is accountable for the full chemicals solutions portfolio for their region that enables financial growth and improves.profitability. They are the responsible guardian of the product line strategy and plan that meets the needs of the region, exceeds their regional customer’s expectations and accelerates profitable growth.
Product line development will include short and long-range growth, working with the global product managers to provide ideas and get support for initiatives and competitive strategies.
The RPM will be responsible for guiding and influencing a cross functional team in the execution of product line development, management, launches, margin improvement and efficient end to end fulfillment. They will be the conduit between global product management and the regional teams to provide VOC, regional feedback and input on global initiatives.
As a member of the regional technical leadership team they will be expected to engage with internal and external customers and set the highest standards for safety, ethics and inclusion.
Accountable for the regional product portfolio for all application areas, agnostic across product lines, empowered to make product line decisions for local growth / defence aligned to the CSM vision.Fuel agility and responsiveness in the regions and avoid the global back and fore.Responsible for the regional Finished Product offering in their markets (raising the PQ), connected and governed by the respective global product management processesAn active participant in the product line COEs to share regional input and learn from others to embrace best practiceSit on regional leadership team & partake in Win calls, ops reviews, etcPart of the global product management community to develop our mid to long term plansDeliver the product management KPI / G&Os for regional & global leadership - responsible for metrics by region; revenue, volumes, margin, vitality, SKUs, cost outActive in generating the VOB / VOC for the region and making the gap analysis to share with global product managementCoordinate regional RTS / NPI / technical projects, aligned with the specific global product managers, to meet the regional fulfillment needsLooking at white spaces and new opportunities in the region that can fuel the innovation pipelineCollaborate with regional PA and the verticals to gather VOB/VOCWork closely with sourcing, supply chain and technology to ensure and optimise regional fulfillmentBe exemplary in EHS and ethics as part of our culture of safety and doing what's right.QualificationsB.S. in an engineering/science discipline, Marketing or related industrial experienceMinimum 8 years of relevant sales, product management or marketing, technical experience Minimum 3 years of water treatment / energy process experienceDemonstrated ability to create a vision, a strategy around this vision and drive a plan to executeStrong process and project management skills with ability to drive projects and meet deadlines Proven success in developing and leveraging cross-functional and cross-business relationshipsStrong analytical and computer skills.Excellent communication skills, both oral and writtenFluent communicator in English
