Regional Property Health and Safety Business Advisor

 

Homeworking – covering London and the South East

 

£43,325 - £56,518 per year plus Company car or car allowance

 

35 hours per week

 

We have an opportunity for a Regional Property Health and Safety Business Advisor to join our Property Health and safety team covering London and the South East of England.

 

The main purpose of this role is to act a subject matter expert in their area providing high quality Health and Safety advice, guidance, support and partnership working for continual improvement to the operational and other departmental staff across the Sanctuary Group

 

The role of Regional Property Health and Safety Business Advisor will include:

Act as the H&S lead within a designated region of the country, providing colleagues, managers and external contractors clear guidance and practical advice on H&S related issues Undertake risk and method assessments, making prompt and appropriate interventions Support property colleagues with the planning and delivery of both Sanctuary property services and external contractor related reactive and proactive works Acting as principal designer on projects for all business areas within Sanctuary Undertake root cause analysis accident and incident investigations when serious accidents or incidents have occurred and liaise with the Group's legal and insurance teams to prepare legally sound reports

 

Skills and experiences:

Degree, management qualification or relevant professional qualification NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational H&S or equivalent Health and Safety qualification NEBOSH Construction Safety Certificate P405 Management of Asbestos in Buildings qualification CISRS Scaffold Inspection Training Scheme certificate Comprehensive knowledge of Health and Safety regulations, legislation and current best practice relating to property (including CDM) Comprehensive experience of undertaking a similar role in Housing, Property Services and / or Construction This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
