Inwood Property Management LLC is a leading student housing property management company dedicated to providing high-quality housing and resident services. We are seeking a Regional Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of properties within the Mid-West region.
The Regional Property Manager will supervise on-site operations teams and hold them responsible for developing asset budgeting, preparing and administering operations manuals, quality control, and resident communications activities.
ResponsibilitiesTYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: Regional Property Manager typical responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Provide oversight and leadership to on-site property management teams, ensuring efficient daily operations and resident satisfaction.Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing properties.Develop and implement annual operating budgets and monitor performance metrics to achieve financial goals.Ensure timely repairs and preventative maintenance.Conduct regular property inspections and identify areas for improvement in maintenance, security, and resident services.Oversee the housing process and lead on-site operations team towards the marketing of vacant units and managing agreements.Build and maintain positive relationships with residents and local champions, supporting the Property Management team’s communications and fostering a sense of community.Prepare comprehensive reports on property performance and submit them to senior management.Implement Department of Housing and Urban Development ("HUD") rules and regulations.Implement laws and standards that apply to property management, such as Fair Housing Laws, Landlord-Tenant Laws, and local and state building codes. QualificationsEXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Property Management, or a related field preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in property management, with a proven track record in affordable housing.Or equivalent combination of education and experience.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem solving skills.Proficient in property management software and MS Office Suite.Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to prioritize tasks for self and direct reports.Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
