Regional Recruiter will serve as a strategic partner in attracting top talent for both staff and proposal recruitment. This role is part of a fast-paced environment that manages a high volume of open positions throughout the year.
This position will serve all Jhpiego country offices in Anglophone Africa Region.

ResponsibilitiesRecruitment
Proactively manages full life-cycle recruitment campaigns for staff positions and proposal submissions including management of sourcing, advertising, screening, interviewing, selection, and closing processManage offer process including salary, benefits and allowances as requiredCollect recruitment documents from candidates including biographical informationManage the international candidate database striving continuously to populate with appropriate candidatesSupport workplace diversity and build strong network of skilled professionalsBuild strong relationships with hiring managers to understand current and future hiring needs, developing job descriptions/specifications, and hiring strategiesAlign the recruitment of each position to the overall strategy and utilize diverse sourcing mechanisms to proactively identify potential key personnelProvide timely progress updates on pipelining, interview, and placement activity to hiring managersMaintain open position report and track recruitment activity, analysis and metricsMaintain compliance with policies and procedures, local employment laws and regulations with regard to all recruitment practicesEnsure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, including timely communication and feedback.Promote the organization's culture and values in recruitment materials and interactionsAnalyze recruitment data to identify trends and areas for improvementWork with Regional HRBP to coordinate onboarding of proposed staff at the time of project award and after candidate selection for awarded projects.Administrative/Other
Manage social media strategy (LinkedIn)Backstop special projects as neededProvide administrative and operational support to Regional HR Partner as needed Required Qualifications Bachelors degree relevant to the role with 5 to 6 years’ full-life cycle recruiting experienceExperience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects and client relationshipsExperience developing positive working relationships with hiring managersDemonstrated knowledge of HR and recruiting methods and processesRecruiting experience in international development or public health arena preferredExperience working across multiple countries within the regionProposal recruitment experience for USG donor (i.e. USAID, CDC, DOD) or other international donor agencies preferredAbility to execute recruiting strategy, including employer promotion in the marketplace, candidate management, diversity sourcing, and interview process managementSelf-sufficient and able to work with little directed supervisionTenacious with a solutions approachStrong consulting skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, as a team leader and memberAbility to work in a complex environment with multiple tasks, short deadlines and intense pressure to performDemonstratable knowledge of employment laws, and standard HR and recruiting practices and proceduresStrong oral and written communication skills; able to interact effectively, and in a professional, tactful manner with candidates, employees and senior managementProficient in using applicant tracking software, iCIMS would be preferredMetrics-oriented, analytical thinker who is able to analyze, interpret, present and act upon dataAttention to detail, ability to act independently, follow up, take initiative and use good judgmentAware of and sensitive to working in multiple socio-economic settings and with multi-cultural groups in a developing country environmentCOMPETENCIES
