The NI APAC Webscale Sales organization is currently seeking a team of seasoned and dynamic senior sales professionals who are passionate about positioning and selling NI products and solutions to new and existing Webscale customers in the APAC region.
Responsibilities will include:
Be the main point of contact for US and Chinese Hyperscale accounts in the region, covering optical/MOFN/SLTE business, IP/DC Fabric business and other strategic tasks related to Data Center Networking portfolio. Responsible for the achievement of Orders target and customer satisfaction for the assigned accounts and area Manage all the customer and account related activities for the assigned Hyperscale accounts and coordinate with Fixed Networks, Optical and IP Business Centers, subject matter experts and delivery functions across the full sales cycle of HW, SW and Services Coordinate and orchestrate with all involved adjacent teams (e.g. presales, partner sales, business development, field marketing teams) to develop the funnel and sales opportunities Own SFDC entries including scoping, solutioning, pricing and T&C, and ensure offers are technically and commercially competitive Be responsible for closely monitoring market and technology trends, and competition in the market Develop initiatives to influence decision making towards NOKIA value proposition and portfolio strengths Possess a broad overview of the current state of the business, key projects (near and longer term) and competitive dynamics Responsible for strategic and operational relationship management with customer executives, including sourcing team, strategic negotiation team and wholesales team from service providers Anticipates internal and external business challenges, and proactively seek for process, product or service improvements to sustain competitive advantage Combines profound professional expertise with a holistic sense for the business and commercial environment to create mid to long-term business impact Travel: Ability to travel regionally up to 50% of the time, mostly within Asia
Your skills and experience
You have:
ICT Industry Expertise: 8 years’ experience in telecom as sales, business development or presales, with deep understanding and knowledge in Optical/Subsea/SLTE/IP/DC and related architectures, particularly in hyperscale, wholesales data center markets 5 years’ experience in market development, with proven contribution in growing new segments, or new account development as hunter. Specific knowledge: Equipped with strong technology background, including but not limited to deep understanding of DWDM, Dark Fiber, Submarine/SLTE networking, IP Transit/Peering, DC fabric, DC gateway, EVPN/VXLAN technologies Good understanding of the procurement process by the Hyperscalers and the eco-systems with the regional telcos will be advantageous Business understanding: Knowledge of Hyperscale market, their planning requirement and vision, and key players in the ecosystem. Experiences in hyperscale planning, project management, network architecture design, deployment, procurement will be a major advantage. Knowledge of wholesales and data center selection market, dark fiber and power distribution markets will be an asset Enthusiasm in keeping abreast of technological and market trend as well as competitive intelligence Transformational Vision: Proven ability to envision and execute strategic transformations, adept at reshaping strategies to drive new business growth within the ICT sector Strategic Thinker: Ability to think strategically, formulate innovative plans, and translate them into actionable initiatives that drive business growth with wider multi-functional teams Strategic Networking & Relationship Building: Exceptional networking skills with a knack for cultivating and evolving relationships at key hyperscale contacts and the broader ICT ecosystem Existing connections to key eco-system members with references would be an asset Stakeholder Alignment: A demonstrated ability to navigate complex relationships, understand nuanced perspectives, and influence stakeholders effectively within the ICT industry.
