Regional Sales Director, Webscale Sales

The NI APAC Webscale Sales organization is seeking a team of seasoned and dynamic senior sales professionals who are passionate about selling NI products and solutions to new and existing Webscale customers in the APAC region.

Your skills and experience

You have:

ICT Industry Expertise:  8 years’ experience in telecom as sales, business development or presales, with deep understanding and knowledge in Optical/IP/DC networks and related architectures, particularly in Webscale/Data Center/Colocation/Cloud Provider markets.  5 years’ experience in market development, with proven contribution in growing new segments, or new account development as hunter.  Specific knowledge:  Equipped with all or part of Optical/IP/DC networks technologies knowledge, including but not limited to good understanding of DC interconnect, DWDM networks, IP Transit/Peering, DC fabric, DC gateway, EVPN/VXLAN technologies Experience with container, microservices, Kubernetes, automation architecture, IPSec/AnySec, DDoS experience would be an asset Business understanding:  Knowledge of Webscale market, their networks requirement and vision, and key players in the ecosystem. Major technology trends, experiences in pre-sales or sales and business models of private/enterprise/public clouds Enthusiasm in keeping abreast of technological and market trend as well as competitive intelligence Transformational Vision:  Proven ability to envision and execute strategic transformations, adept at reshaping strategies to drive new business growth within the ICT sector Strategic Thinker:  Ability to think strategically, formulate innovative plans, and translate them into actionable initiatives that drive business growth with wider multi-functional teams Strategic Networking & Relationship Building:  Exceptional networking skills with a knack for cultivating and evolving relationships at all levels within customers and the broader ICT ecosystem Existing connections to key eco-system members with references would be an asset Stakeholder Alignment:  A demonstrated ability to navigate complex relationships, understand nuanced perspectives, and influence stakeholders effectively within the ICT industry. Possessing empathy, strong interpersonal skills, and the capacity to manage emotions, resolve conflicts, and foster a positive and collaborative work environment Analytical & Data-Driven:  Proficiency in market analysis, leveraging data insights to make informed decisions and optimize sales strategies. Excellent Communication Skills:  Superior verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and negotiate effectively. Fluency in other Asian languages would be an asset Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree:  Preferably undergraduate degrees and Master degree in field related to Telecommunications / Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Computing Science. Additional certifications or qualifications in telecom or sales management are advantageous. Drive and build profitable business growth in APAC with Webscale companies Responsible for the achievement of Orders target and customer satisfaction for the assigned area Manage all the customer and account related activities for Webscale accounts and coordinate with Fixed Networks, Optical and IP Business Centers, subject matter experts and delivery functions across the full sales cycle of HW, SW and Services Coordinate with all involved adjacent teams (e.g. presales, partner sales, business development, field marketing teams) to develop the funnel and define sales strategy Own SFDC entries and offer development, including scoping, solutioning, pricing and T&C, and ensure offers are technically and commercially competitive Be responsible for closely monitoring market and technology trends Anticipate competition in the market and develop initiatives to influence decision making towards NOKIA value proposition and portfolio strengths Possess a broad overview of the current state of the business, key projects (near and longer term) and competitive dynamics Responsible for strategic and operational relationship management with customer executives Anticipates internal and external business challenges, and proactively seek for process, product or service improvements to sustain competitive advantage Combines profound professional expertise with a holistic sense for the business and commercial environment to create mid to long-term business impact Significantly influences strategic decisions within own customer team, in turn impacting the performance of NI APAC Sales organization Travel: Ability to travel regionally up to 50% of the time
