The Regional Sales Excellence Leader is responsible for driving the overall effectiveness and productivity of our sales team. They play a crucial role in developing sales strategies, improving processes, training and coaching sales teams, managing performance, and ensuring the team has the necessary tools and resources to succeed. Leadership will be vital in fostering a high-performing sales culture that drives Demand generation, revenue growth and achieves organizational goals.

Where is the work:  

 Virtual:  

This is a Remote position.  The ideal candidate will be located in the South Region, which includes AR, LA, OK, TX, NM, or AZ.

  

What you will do:    

•     Sales Strategy Development: - Collaborate with Product Growth teams PGTs to develop and implement sales strategies that align with business goals and objectives. 
•    Process Improvement: - Evaluate and optimize sales processes and workflows to improve efficiency and effectiveness. - Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and quality. 
•    Training, Development and onboarding: - Design and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales teams. - Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to help sales leaders achieve their team targets. 
•    Coaching - Sales leadership through SMX/SPX Sales Management disciplines to create consistent leadership and culture sales excellence.
•    Performance Management: - Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor and assess sales performance. - Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
•    Sales Enablement: - Equip the sales team with the tools, resources, and information they need to succeed, including Sales Force CRM systems, sales collateral, and market intelligence. - Ensure seamless communication and collaboration between sales and other departments, such as marketing and product management. 
•    Data Analysis and Reporting: - Analyze sales data to identify trends, measure effectiveness, and inform decision-making. - Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance to senior leadership. 
•    Innovation and Change Management: - Lead initiatives to innovate and adapt sales strategies and practices in response to changing market conditions and technological advancements. - Manage change effectively within the sales team to ensure smooth transitions and adoption of new processes. 
•    Sales Forecasting and Planning: - Develop accurate sales forecasts and budgets to guide strategic planning and resource allocation. - Monitor sales pipeline and ensure alignment with business objectives. 
•    Leadership – Lead, Grow and maintain a high-performing sales team through effective recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 
•    Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field.
•    Proven experience in sales leadership roles, with a track record of driving sales excellence and achieving targets.
•    Strong understanding of sales processes, CRM systems, and sales enablement tools.
•    Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
•    Ability to lead and inspire a sales team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
•    Experience in change management and the ability to adapt to evolving market conditions.
 
LANGUAGE SKILLS 
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS 
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY 
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

This position works in a variety of environments, from inside office to outdoors, mechanical/ equipment rooms, and industrial work environments.  During visits to customer/job sites, the employee is occasionally required to climb and may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, extreme heat, and risk of electrical shock.  The employee is to follow the Electrical Safety/Arc Flash requirements to eliminate exposure.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.  Hearing protectors should be worn in environments over 85 DBA.

Base Pay Range: $  

 

Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
