A Brief Summary of This Position:

This individual contributor role drives sales growth for the Bridge product portfolio, meeting revenue targets and fostering relationships with users, contractors, and design firms. Responsibilities include promoting product knowledge and acceptance, building key relationships, and strategizing customer projects. The ideal candidate has expertise in short-span bridge structures and procurement processes within transportation and construction.

Territory: TX , OK, MS, NM, LA, AR

Essential Functions:

Travel up to 50% domesticallyReports to the National Sales Director for U-BEAMTM Bridge SystemsCultivates relationships with engineering firms and clientsOffers customer specification supportIllustrates product superiority over competitorsRecommends product modifications to align with customer needsGenerates weekly reports on activities and opportunitiesActs as a technical resource for internal and external customersConsistently meets or exceeds revenue goalsProvides accurate market intelligence and forecastsDevelops a sales rep organization in the assigned areaMaintains skills in motivating, training, time management, negotiation, and moreProvides Voice of the Customer feedbackSupports new product launchesMaintains strong customer relationshipsAttends sales meetings, conferences, and trade shows

Responsible for customer communications and new client developmentMain point of contact for key customersFocuses on forecasting, price management, and competitive analysisLeads proposal process and contract negotiationsManages Rep relationships and performanceDrives engagement of all product familiesEvaluate training needs and coordinate internal resourcesCompletes pre-bid profiles and follows up on bidsEvaluate Rep commission structure quarterlyCompletes quarterly territory and account plans

Required Qualifications of Every Candidate:

Bachelors with 6+ years of experience in a sales management position with increasing levels of account and regional/territory management responsibilities; or Associates Degree with 8+ years relevant experience; or 10+ years of relevant experienceExperience managing rep firms and executing account strategiesStrong communication, negotiation, and leadership skillsAbility to travel up to 50% domesticallyValid US driver’s license

Highly Qualified Candidates Will Also Possess These Qualifications:

Ten years of sales management experienceUnderstanding of channels of distribution and relationships in various market segmentsKnowledge of the bridge marketplace and its overlap with lighting and traffic spaces
