Location Description As a field sales employee, you will have the opportunity to travel and enjoy the flexibility that comes with remote work. Responsibilities POSITION SUMMARY Regional Sales Manager to lead multiple broker representatives to drive profitable sales and brand share growth for both PCB and the Customer KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and own the execution details to deliver top and bottom line growth of PCB Pet brands against the assigned customer base Drive brand/category share growth in the market with the corresponding customer base Set expectations to anticipate & identify opportunities & competitive threats, then works collaboratively to solve Partners with broker to develop & advance creative solutions to break down barriers/address opportunities and deliver profitable category growth Direct accountability for flawless execution by the broker to own the everyday business, including Customer forms, item setup/ maintenance, online content, logistics, inventory management, etc. Lead and influence negotiations with customers for new items, key initiatives, etc. Build and maintain Customer relationships Collaborate with all functional counterparts, especially Customer Commercialization, Marketing, Rev Man, and Supply Chain to deliver the business priorities Conduct quarterly reviews with region leads to monitor progress and identify gaps against the objectives Train and develop Broker Sales Reps on PCB brands and process Utilize broker Category Managers to deliver top-tier selling proposals Conduct annual business plans with top regional customers Perform analysis of sales and profit components, including merchandising, promotional, and supply chain opportunities Work with syndicated, and other data sources to manage and inform strategic and tactical plans Manage and own internal sales system (forecast, promotions, etc.) Effectively manage trade budget and distribution, shelving, merchandising, and pricing objectives Ad-hoc financial and data analysis, including pre/post-event analysis Drive business process improvements by working closely with cross-functional business partners and team Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree is required Experience A minimum of 5 years of direct selling CPG experience with national, regional, or top key account management is required Wholesale account management experience highly preferred Previous broker management experience preferred Other Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Strong technical skills in office applications (i.e Excel, PowerPoint) Proven leader in negotiation success Proficient in the use of syndicated data sources (IRI/Nielsen) is strongly preferred Remote based - all candidates must be located in the South East Region of the United States. Must be available to travel 30-35 % travel
