**Purpose of Position**
Responsible for the sale of Corning Life Sciences Products to assigned accounts or territories. Creates and develops contact with existing and potential customers. Ensures alignment of customer requirements and product attributes. Identifies growth opportunities. Ensures implementation of regional channel plan; works closely with channels to drive existing business and grow CLS products in the assigned territory.
**Major Responsibilities**
**Ongoing Tasks**
+ Meet or exceed sales budget for the region
+ Build strong relationships with customers and distributors
+ Implement aggressive growth driven programs with distribution
+ Work as a team with other account managers for the best interest of the company and business
+ Build relationships with all functional groups and represent the voice of the customer internally
+ Create, implement and maintain a sales plan that exceeds expectations
+ Analyze existing and anticipated customer requirements and promote consideration of CLS products to fill such requirements.
+ Understand and effectively manages channel and grow the region through Channel KAM Plan and dynamics to CLS’ advantage
+ Provides voice of the customer data to supervisor and/or product teams
+ Constructively promotes changes which may improve business results or team effectiveness
+ Assists as required and appropriate in complaint resolution and global product launch process
+ Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects as required.
+ Assists as required for implementation of marketing plans for the region.
+ **Project Tasks**
+ Recommends prices for CLS products with all stakeholders
+ Develop and maintain innovative strategies to drive growth
+ Develop and maintain demand generation programs
+ Work closely with end users and channels

**Education and Skills:**
+ Bachelors in Life Sciences with M.B.A / Masters in life science preferred along with M.B.A
+ Minimum 8 to 10 years sales experience preferably in similar field
+ Science Skills ( 1 – 2 years lab experience desired)
+ Strong written and oral communication skills
+ Strong Negotiation Skills
+ Computer Skills ( SFDC ,Excel, powerpoint, Mail, Word, Access, Publisher)
+ Sound organizational skills
+ Analytical skills and good financial acumen
