Overview:

2020 Companies has a full-time remote Regional Sales Manager opportunity representing our client, Samsung Electronics America.

We are seeking a results-oriented Regional Sales Manager to lead and motivate a team of Market Sales Managers to achieve sales, training, and merchandising objectives within assigned retail locations. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of success in retail sales management, coupled with exceptional leadership and communication skills. They will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans, driving revenue growth, and fostering strong relationships with retail partners.

Job Description:

Lead and manage a remote team of Market Sales Managers, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance development support

Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve Samsung Regional Sales targets

Oversee the training and development of retail sales personnel, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to sell Samsung products effectively

Manage and optimize merchandising activities with the Market Sales Managers within assigned Regions to enhance product visibility and drive sales

Collaborate closely with retail partners to build strong relationships at the District and Regional Leadership level and identify opportunities for sales growth

Analyze sales data and regional trends to identify areas for improvement and develop corrective actions

Prepare and present sales reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and achievements

Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge

Performance Measurements:

Meet or exceed regional sales goals, including but not limited to Revenue and Unit Sales

Meet or exceed weekly in store time goals for the Market Sales Managers  

Achieve Prescribed Regional Training Targets  

Visit Markets and support Market Sales Managers in the field weekly  

Effectively demonstrate an on-going ability to establish, maintain, and influence business relationships with merchant District Leadership  

Record and maintain appropriate documentation for each visit and provide a summary to Merchant Partners  

Analyze and synthesize competitive intelligence data to identify emerging trends, potential threats, and opportunities for growth

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail sales management, with a proven record of accomplishment of success in achieving sales targets

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of sales professionals

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software 

Capable to work autonomously with excellent time management skills 

Must be able to travel 70-80% of the year to various markets across the US and work flexible hours
