Regional Sales Manager

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the development and execution of sales strategies and plans for the Shamrock Foods portfolio. This includes development of new customers and management of existing customers.

\n

Essential Duties:

\n\nDelivers significant volume growth and maintains profitability\nEnsures execution of annual sales plans\nIdentifies and prioritizes key sales opportunities at key customer accounts, aligns with the strategic marketing plan, and meets overall divisional goals\nDevelops, directs, and manages strategic selling plan for the Shamrock Foods brands\nWorks with Branch Sales Manager to establish sales forecasts and manages to those objectives\nMaintains regular contacts with key customers for the purpose of significantly improving Shamrock’s relationship and ensuring that programs are executed in a timely, high quality and value-added way\nDevelops sales presentations in conjunction Branch leadership\nDevelops annual sales and expense budgets for region and manages the approved budgets\nProvides periodic reporting and analysis as needed\nDevelops annual trade plans for new and existing key accounts to drive objectives.\nProvides leadership and management of all customer proposals for assigned region\nOther duties as assigned.\n\n

Qualifications:

\n\nHS Diploma and/or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree a plus.\n5 plus years’ experience in sales. Foodservice experience a plus.\n2 plus years’ experience in a sales leadership role a plus\nCurrent driver license\nStrong financial acumen\nDemonstrated expertise in problem solving\nComfort using technology; reading reports and analyzing customer data\nDemonstrated knowledgeable on current industry trends through the analysis and interpretation of general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and/or governmental regulations.\nExcellent communication skills:\n\nWrite reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.\nEffectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.\nExpertise in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)\n\n\n\n

Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which may be subject to evenings, weekends and holidays.

Salary of $100,000 to $150,000 with annual bonus potential depending on competency, experience, qualifications and skills plus annual bonus potential.
