We are a vertically integrated manufacturer and our products are made at facilities located in Quebec, Ontario, and Saskatchewan.

 

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will report to the Sales Director, Canada and work closely with the rest of the sales team.

 

GETTING TO KNOW THE POSITION 

 

You will be responsible for execution of sales plans and strategies that ensures a delivery of maximum annual sales and profitability for the Central Canada accounts.

 

HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT

 

Assist in the development of the annual business plans for assigned accounts and the delivery of annual sales and volume targets Play a key role with the execution of the overall account approach and selling strategies to maintain critical business relationships with existing accounts and the creation of new business opportunities Support the development of analysis, research and reports of competitors, customers and markets in order to evaluate Nexans competitiveness and to determine where opportunities exist within markets Analyze business performance and delivers recommendations to drive sales growth by using keen knowledge of the market and customer needs Collaborate with product development and production teams to develop appropriate products and specifications to meet or exceed sales targets and customer requirements Collaborating with marketing, sales service, plants and engineering in order for the department to work effectively and efficiently as a team

 

You will be expected to:

 

Focus on visiting branches and developing relationships Improve margins. Develop contractor relationships that aid in development of new products/services and evaluation of competitors position with their innovations for replication.

 

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE ?

 

Bachelors of commerce or engineering 5 – 8 years sales experience in manufacturing (cable industry experience is an asset) Substantial understanding of the sales and marketing process and how it relates to the overall objectives of the company Technical proficiency in Microsoft office (word, excel power point) Relationship building capabilities to open doors, develop opportunities and close deals Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated problem solving and negotiation skills Results oriented, self-starter and highly motivated
