Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will drive a superior customer experience and profitable growth through the execution of the division strategy. You will be responsible for overseeing all sales and business activities across Europe, empowering local teams, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving regional growth through strategic coordination and support.This role is open globally, but location is set in ABB offices across Europe. The work model for the role is: hybrid #LI-hybridYou will be mainly accountable for:• Managing all countries in Europe, ensuring orders, revenue growth, and market share increase.• Enabling local sales teams to support their customers and bringing local needs to global functions.• Overseeing cross-border business activities and ensuring accurate data management.• Providing technical support, modern sales tools, and efficient delivery technologies.• Leading and monitoring sales activities, performance, and developing local go-to-market strategies.• Creating market segmentation, prioritizing customers, and localizing value propositions and marketing materials.• Establishing local pricing, profitability, and ensuring operational cash flow and EBITA targets.• Building a knowledge-sharing community and focus on functional competence and people development.

Qualifications for the role

Bachelor's or higher degree in a relevant field 10+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development and P&L with at least 5 years of experience in NEMA or IEC/LMG product, markets, sales and technical aptitude of electric motors Previous experience in financial reading and reporting Ability to navigate into complex and multi-cultural environment Good communication and planning skills Willingness to travel to various countries within the region
