Position Summary:
Reporting to the Regional Director of Sales you will be a critical member of the Power Efficiency Solutions (PES) sales team business who will be responsible for leading and driving sales growth of our broad line products.
Growth will be achieved by winning share at existing and new accounts, new product introductions, and driving adoption of high efficiency motors with OEM partners, national distribution accounts, and contractors in the Region.
This position will lead both direct and manufacturer reps to accomplish objectives. Responsible for strategy development, strategy implementation, managing growth projects to completion, and continually seeking opportunities to obtain sales revenue achievement in the Region.
PES is one of three operating segments with approximately $1.7 Billion in revenue and produces electric motors, variable speed controls, and air moving solutions which are sold in the residential heating and ventilating, water heating, commercial refrigeration, pump, leisure water, and other OEM and aftermarkets. Brands include Genteq® motors, as well as Fasco®, Elco®, DEC Star®, Leeson, motor and blowers.
Major Responsibilities:
Achieve P&L targets; manage business unit resources to deliver sales and margin targets.
Own and drive revenue growth; lead team to identify and secure new revenue opportunities.
Lead all aspects of sales strategy development and execution as related to both maintenance of existing business and successful pursuit of competitive share capture.
Key functional lead and contributor to overall business strategy along with marketing, engineering, customer service, and SIOP.
Lead talent and capability development and staffing decisions within the sales function including hiring, developing, and retaining top talent, providing career development and performance management.
Create and drive a vision that ensures ongoing sense of focus, direction and urgency throughout the sales team.
Create and maintain solid professional relationships with key customers and also key individuals with Regal Rexnord.
Lead successful customer negotiations in developing commercial agreements that maximize competitive positioning and profitable sales.
Lead performance measurement and variable compensation communication and administration.
Contributes to sales strategy, tactics, and regular business updates.
Build a strong cross-functional operating cadence with teams around pipeline, forecasting, deal review, execution, deployment and revenue realization.
Achieve and maintain trust and confidence of all internal functions as required to add team value and achieve goals
Maintain conduct in accordance with Regal Rexnord vision, mission, values, initiatives and company policies.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business, Technical or related field
10+ years industry sales leadership and success
Experience leading a team with direct reports
Experience building and converting a CRM opportunity funnel
Strong customer orientation with ability to build executive level relationships
Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to lead and motivate team members
Successful experience building a go-to-market strategy and sales plan
Strong computer skills – Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
Ability to work Independently and remotely
High level of personal initiative and ownership of results
Desired Qualifications:
Proven track record of profitable growth
Experience with PT, Leisure Water, or HVAC/R industries selling to OEM and Distribution accounts
Use of Power BI
Experience working with 80/20, Policy Deployment methodologies
Experience with CRM and forecasting tools
Pay Transparency - $130,000 to $160,000 base salary + variable compensation
