Regional Sales Manager - Industrial Heat Tracing

What YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION: + Lead industrial channel sales in the Southwestern US territory (TX/OK/AZ/CO/WY/NM) for a global leader in the heat tracing products and heat management system solutions industry. Brands sold are RAYCHEM, TRACER, and PYROTENAX products. + Promote nVent’s Industrial Heating Solutions (IHS) capabilities with the goal of developing and securing product and services business related to capital project, sustaining, and maintenance opportunities. + Initiate, maintain, and grow strong relationships with industrial clients in the Southwestern US territory. + Collaborate and develop strong relationships with existing manufacturer’s rep firms in the region. + Work with the respective Regional Sales & Operations Leadership teams to establish, implement, and be accountable for strategies and plans to drive growth. + Coordinate Proposal & Estimating activities in conjunction with applicable functional teams to secure new product and service opportunities. + Prepare & present strategic IHS product and services presentations to engineering & owner clients both virtually and in person. + Regularly update and lead the Salesforce.com CRM tool including tasks, activities, project updates, cross-territorial teamwork, and sales funnel development. YOU HAVE: + An academic background in a technical field is helpful + Ideally 5+ years of related work experience in industrial sales with a preference for an electrical sales background + Experience leading 3rd party manufacturing rep agencies or distribution is helpful + Ability to work from a home office in the sales region and travel 60% of the time on average + Integrity, passion, and outstanding in-person presentation skills + Solid understanding of technical sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques + Outstanding listening, written, and verbal communication skills + Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of passion. + While we have this posted in multiple locations, we are only making 1 hire* **WE HAVE:** + A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day + At nVent, we believe safer systems ensure a more secure world. Total target cash is comprised of an employee’s base salary and sales incentive target opportunity, when annual sales goals are achieved. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
