Regional Sales Manager - Mechanical

Eaton’s GEIS division is currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager - Mechanical. This role is supporting the Southeast territory - candidates must reside in the Southeast region in order to be considered.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $114000.03 - $167200.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you’ll do:

 1. Sales Efforts
•    Plans and directs the efforts of sales agents, distribution, and contractors, in securing sales volume in accordance with the prescribed objectives or goals.
•    Develop and implement products promotions
•    Develop and drive new product sales
•    Develop and implement conversion plans
•    Assists sales agents, distribution, and contractors, at appropriate intervals as required, and provides particular expertise or influence in key situations.
•    Develops and maintains liaison with top management of national or regional facilities of key accounts located within the territory.
•    Analyzes sales levels and trends, and initiates action as necessary to ensure attainment of sales objectives.
2. Development 
•    Develops and maintains a group of rep agencies, distribution, and contractors. 
•    Responsible for initiating and implementing training for distribution, contractors, and reps .
•    Development of programs to maintain and improve the sales.
3.  Technical Assistance
•    Understands and demonstrates the features and benefits of the full line Mechanical and Seismic products including training others on product usage and applications.
•    Ensures appropriate technical assistance regarding product applications to engineering consultants, OEM, users, inspection and standards personnel, contractors, etc. 
•    Trains our Customers on how to specify, sell, and properly apply the products.  
•    Develop and presents technical seminars for customers, sales personnel, distributors, specifying engineers, and trade shows keeping the customer aware of the manufacturing capabilities including: design, fabrication and assembly abilities
•    Accountable for providing technical support and information to customers on a pre-sales and post-sales basis for product application, specification, interpretation and quotation support.
4. Market and Product Information
•    Informs the Division of business and product trends and competitive conditions within the region.
•    Recommends new or modified programs to ensure a competitive position is maintained within the sales territory.
•    Supports the strategic planning process through understanding and effective communication of customer needs.
5. Management Coordination and Reporting
•    Coordinates sales activities with production, distribution, engineering, marketing, and finance departments to achieve territory sales objectives.  
•    Evaluates and recommends operational improvements and responsible for maintaining and improving pricing in accordance with company objectives.
•    Helps to coordinate activities and resolve internal problems that can negatively impact customers, including issues related to manufacturing, scheduling, delivery and billing.
