Our Shockwave Medical portfolio aims to establish a new standard of care for medical device treatment of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease through its differentiated and proprietary local delivery of sonic pressure waves for the treatment of calcified plaque. **Position Overview** This pivotal role involves spearheading sales strategies to expand patient access to Shockwave's Intravascular Lithotripsy (IVL) technology in cardiovascular and peripheral markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales leadership, market development, and team management, with the ability to inspire high-performing teams and drive business growth. **Key Responsibilities** **Team Leadership** + Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Territory Sales Managers and Clinical Specialists to achieve and exceed sales targets. + Organize and facilitate sales team meetings, quarterly business reviews, and leadership sessions. + Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. + Provide regular coaching, feedback, and development support to team members. + Allocate significant time to field visits to understand customer needs and support professional development. **Market Development** + Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and healthcare providers. + Collaborate with the reimbursement team to maximize market access. + Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform strategic decisions. + Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities. **Forecasting and Reporting** + Maintain full P+L accountability. + Accurately forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue streams. + Manage the sales pipeline to ensure consistent achievement of KPIs. + Provide comprehensive reporting on market dynamics and performance. **Cross-Functional Collaboration** + Serve as a key representative for UK and Ireland within the European Leadership Team. + Work in partnership with South Regional Manager to deliver regional results and a collaborative approach to grow and develop a high-performing team. + Collaborate closely with Marketing, R&D, and Reimbursement functions to align strategies. + Pilot and scale new sales strategies and tactics. + Provide market feedback to guide product development and positioning. **Requirements** + Solid experience managing diverse sales teams in the UK. + Proven track record of sales leadership and exceeding revenue targets. + Bachelor's degree (BA/BSc) or equivalent experience. + Experience in cardiovascular or peripheral vascular markets preferred. + Demonstrated success in bringing innovative and disruptive products to market. + Exceptional collaboration and communication skills. + Ability to travel over 50% as required.
